These courses are open to all.  Yoga teachers, Yoga students, Reiki practitioners, Relaxation Practitioners, All types of Therapists, Nurses, Health Care workers, Educators and the general public who have a healthy desire to learn how to meet someone where they are and to physically assist in another's restorative practice of self-care and well being.

 

Attendees receive Nationally Certified Continuing Education hours, whether improving their current practices, as well as those simply wanting to provide comfort to their families and friends, which can also develop into a part time or full time practice.

 

 

You will learn;

•Thai Culture and Spirituality 

•The basic principles and ethics of Thai Yoga Massage 

•Anatomy

•Proper Mechanics 

•Breathing & Meditation Techniques 

•10 major Sen Lines (energy meridians) 

•Massage Techniques: thumbing, palming, forearms, elbows, knees & feet

•Sequencing (including over 120 moves, 60+ stretches and yoga assists)

~40 Hour CE Certificate can be awarded after completion of your 2 weekend training courses. (Classic 1 & 2)

 

~~~ Basic Thai Massage ~~~ Weekend 1

Building the Structural base on which to build a solid Thai Massage Practice. This weekend has been considered a diagnostic weekend, including introduction to all subjects with concentration of hands on massage techniques, thumbing the major Sen Lines of the arms and legs with beginning assisted yoga postures for the lower body.

 

~~~ Basic Thai Massage ~~~ Weekend 2  (SIGN UP FOR THIS WEEKEND SEPARATELY)

Naturally growing from the first weekend's foundation, introducing larger assisted yoga stretches, with back massage, shoulder mobilization, neck & head series as options, Thai culture and ample practice time. Great for the yogi with an understanding of personal practice and interest in physical assisting and beginning hands on techniques.

 

*Best suited for individuals who have had some form of experience with Thai, massage or yoga practices; are generally healthy and willing to experiment and practice with others.

 

 

***No experience necessary to start in any one weekend.

 

*Taking them in order is recommended for beginners as to sequentially build upon the previous information and practice.
