This class is for students new to ballet and ages 7+ or who have completed Pre-Ballet III by instructor approval.
Students are introduced to barre work, and develop basic ballet elements and conditioning in a controlled and structured setting. In addition, they continue to development of coordination, musicality, fine and gross motor skills, posture, balance, coordination and self expression.
Average Time of Level Completion: 1 Semester

Class Placement: New Students ages 7+ or completed Pre-Ballet III by instructor approval
Intro to Ballet Dress Code:
Please have your dancer wear the dress code they are most comfortable in.
Girls Dress Code:

Attire: Baby Blue or Black leotard and skirt, ballet tights, and ballet slippers. (If your dancer has previously been in pre-ballet pink and does not have a baby blue leotard yet, they can wear their Pre-Ballet Pink Leotard).

Hair: Pulled away from the face, preferably in a bun.

Tights and Slippers: Must match. Options are:

Pink tights with matching pink ballet slippers.

Tights that closely match the dancer's skin tone with matching skin-tone ballet slippers.
