Students who are ready to participate without a parent or guardian.Using songs, imagination, and age-appropriate movement, dancers learn basic ballet technique.

Pre-ballet helps develop children's gross motor skills, class discipline, musicality, balance, posture, flexibility, focus, and spatial awareness.

Class Placement:  Completed Mommy/Daddy & Me by Instructor Approval or 3 yrs old by September 1, 2025. 

Average Time of Level Completion: 2-3 Semesters

NO Regularly Scheduled Classes:

November 26 – 29: Thanksgiving

December 8 – 13: Twin Cities Ballet Performance Break, No Ballet Royale Pre-Ballet Classes

Pre-Ballet Dress Code: 

Please have your dancer wear the dress code they are most comfortable in.

Girls Dress Code:

    •    Attire: Pink leotard and skirt, ballet tights, and ballet slippers.

    •    Hair: Pulled away from the face, preferably in a bun.

    •    Tights and Slippers: Must match. Options are:

        Pink tights with matching pink ballet slippers.

        Tights that closely match the dancer's skin tone with matching skin-tone ballet slippers.

Recommended Items:

    •    Pink Skirted Leotard 

    •    Tights and Slippers 

Boys Dress Code:

    •    Attire: White T-shirt, black leggings/tights/bike shorts, white socks, and white ballet slippers.

    •    Hair: Neat and pulled away from the face if long.

Recommended Item:

    •    White T-Shirt

    •    Ballet Slippers
