Theatrical Artist’s Prep in partnership with the Union County Performing Arts Center presents, BEETLEJUICE JR.
Our 4 week summer conservatory is held at the state-of-the-art rehearsal and performance facilities at the Hamilton Stage located in Rahway, NJ.
Learn the art of Musical Theater by doing it! We are MORE than just a show.
Our super fun and rigorous daily camp schedule is perfect for the dedicated musical theater kid. Under the instruction of T.A.P. coaches and guest instructors/industry professionals, students will play theater games, receive 3 classes in various areas of study (Acting, Dance, Voice), 1 specialty workshop, and participate in company rehearsal weekly. Campers will audition and rehearse their fully designed production of BEETLEJUICE JR.
Camp Dates: Tuesday, July 1st - Friday, July 25th; M-F 9am-3pm

CLASSES:

Dance - Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Hip Hop techniques are necessary skills for performing in musical theater.

Music - A skilled voice teacher and accompanist teach campers safe vocal technique as well as song interpretation.

Acting - Improvisation, creative dramatics, theater games and scene study.

What to wear:
*Students must wear comfortable clothes to move/dance in. No jeans or skirts are allowed.
*Students must wear sneakers and/or jazz shoes. No flip flops, backless or open toed shoes are allowed.
