Ayurveda is India's ancient holistic science of healing and is the sister science to yogic 8-limb path. Ayurveda addresses health on the mind, body and spirit levels.
In this Workshop you will discover ayurvedic practices for the summer (pitta) season including diet, herb and movement recommendations.
Some Pitta pacifying foods will be provided ot sample.
An intro to ayurveda will be covered as well.
Ashlea is a RYT-200 yoga teacher, certified in 200-hour meditation, 40-hour Yin Yoga, and 45-hour Awareness Yoga. She is also a Level 2 Reiki practitioner. As a citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, Ashlea holds a deep reverence for the natural world, which informs her holistic approach to healing. Her work is rooted in the belief that nature offers powerful medicine and she is passionate about creating space for physical, emotional, and spiritual alignment.
Ashlea is studying to become a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor. She is now moving into the mentorship phase of her training, where she continues to refine her skills while working directly with clients under the guidance of experienced practitioners.
Drawing from her Indigenous heritage, energy healing practices, and yoga philosophy, she weaves together ancient wisdom and modern understanding to support others on their wellness journeys. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, and centered on helping people cultivate balance and wholeness in their lives.
