Foundations of Flow: An Align Series Workshop
Take your asana practice to the next level by aligning and better understanding the subtleties of key foundational postures; change your awareness, create engagement, and build strength in your asana practice.
The Align Series offers students a chance to break down key postures commonly found in vinyasa classes. Through a blend of alignment-focused exploration, anatomy insight, and intentional movement, you’ll refine your form and build a stronger foundation for your practice.
Postures covered in the full Align Series include (but aren’t limited to): Warrior II, Extended Side Angle, Reverse Warrior, Triangle, Half Moon, Crescent, Revolved Crescent, Warrior I, Warrior III, Airplane, Side Plank, Plank, Downward Dog, Chair, Eagle, and more.
This workshop—Foundations
of Flow—will focus on:
Warrior 2, Extended Side Angle, Reverse Warrior, Triangle,
Crescent, Revolved Crescent and more (time permitting)
You will learn how to:
• Unpack what muscles should be engaged for stability and
strength
• Navigate transitions between postures with fluid
power
