Soma Circle invites you into connection with your body, through slowness, compassion, Mindfulness meditation, and breathwork. Each series focuses on a different theme and includes optional reading.
We'll meditate, breathe, and practice gentle somatic movement for emotional release, with space to journal and share insights. We'll learn to bridge the mind body gap and reclaim our bodies as a place of safety as we explore the theme of global and personal grief.
This Grief Tending series is for anyone experiencing worry, fear, sadness /or anger, as they carry the weight of the world / or personal circumstances.
You'll be empowered as you learn:
How to restore healthy patterns to your nervous system
How to hold and move difficult emotions within the body
How to assess your capacity & strengthen your energetic boundaries
How to return to presence in the midst of grief and other intense emotional experiences
How to hold space for yourself and allow yourself to be held by the Circle
Soma Circle teachings and practices draw from a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic modalities including Somatic Experiencing and Hakomi. Soma Circle has deep roots in the science and psychology of connection.
