Ages 5-12

Healthy Snacks and water will be provided.

Yoga & Mindfulness: Start each day with refreshing yoga sessions that energize and inspire. Our mindfulness practices help children develop focus, balance, and a deeper connection with themselves and the natural world.

Yoga Hammock Adventures: Experience the thrill of yoga in the air! Our yoga hammock sessions bring a playful twist to traditional poses, helping kids build strength, flexibility, and confidence while suspended in the gentle embrace of our special hammocks.

Crafts & Creativity: Let imaginations soar as kids create their own masterpieces! Our crafts sessions encourage self-expression and the joy of creating something unique.

Positive Psychology Games: Through fun and engaging games, kids will explore the power of positivity, learning valuable life skills, discovering the strength of kindness and gratitude and building self-confidence. 

Movement & Play: From dance to playful exercises, our movement sessions are all about fun! Kids will discover the joy of movement and the many ways it helps them feel good inside and out.

Weather-Permitting we will explore some of these activities on the beach!

About Alex Venier:

Alexandra Venier Ledesma aka Alex, was introduced to Yoga in 2001 while living and working in Miami Beach, where she saw 16 month old toddlers relaxing in savasana, the final yoga position.  At that moment, Alex was sold!  Her yoga journey began.

Alex is a certified experienced Montessori Pre+ K teacher, children’s yoga teacher as well as holds a yoga certification for over 500 hrs plus. She has acquired specialty yoga certificates over the years and taught prenatal, postnatal, aerial yoga classes as well as children on the spectrum. Alex is also a fascia maneuver (self help tools) coach. Alex’s passion is a healthy body and mind and sharing her passion with all ages in an age appropriate fashion.

Today, Alex is a mom of 2, living in Rockaway Beach, NY and she has been a certified yoga instructor for over almost 2 decades. She maintained a consistent practice during both pregnancies and can attest first hand to the many benefits of pre and postnatal yoga classes. Alex loves teaching yoga to all ages, from infants to adults. Her classes nurture and empower the self!  Her “mommy & me” style classes are magical, and her prenatal classes will get you ready for birth. Alex’s aerial classes will make you feel like a child, playful and carefree. Plus, the feedback from your core and other parts of your body will be strength!

Her classes are core strong and based on individual anatomy. You will flow safely and mindfully through skillfully sequenced yoga asanas. Her teaching will invigorate your nervous system, detox the mind and body, and leave you feeling empowered and ready to face the day! Namaste!

About Jodi Heywood:

Jodi Heywood is a seasoned Fitness Instructor and Wellness Coach with over 30 years of experience, dedicated to empowering others. With a Master’s degree in Public Health and numerous certifications including as a meditation guide,  Reiki healer, Fitness Instructor and most recently Positive Psychology Practitioner, Jodi channels her strengths in positivity, problem-solving, and mindfulness into her work. She is a passionate activist for equity and a devoted teacher in her community, guiding others on their wellness journeys. Her love for her family (including her 2 dogs), nature, biking, reading and dedication to life-long learning fuels her spirit, while her commitment to resilience transforms challenges into opportunities. Jodi is highly motivated to expand her unique blend of expertise and empathy as she strives to inspire and educate students with innovative approaches to wellness, integrating practical experience with cutting-edge concepts in health and personal development.
