The Wheel of the Year has turned toward Lughnasadh, the first of the two harvest festivals on the Wheel of the Year. Its celebration reminds us to gather in and reap what we have sown. 

Lughnasadh is also the time when we see the first noticeable descent of the Sun into the darkness of winter. At the same time that we celebrate the fruits of the first harvest, this season is also a time of tension, as winter approaches while we are still gathering and storing the work of the year. 

Join us as we consciously participate in nature’s harvest and honor the sources from where we come. We will reflect on all we have learned in the light half of the year and construct shadow journals to guide us into the descent toward Winter Solstice.
