Kicking off the season, CDT will present Dancers Making Dances: “Words We Cannot Say,” October 10th-12th at CDT’s newly renovated home theater space, made possible by a generous grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council and our patrons. Produced for the past three years with huge success, visual artists from Columbus are called to submit work and chosen to work closely with the dancers of CDT to create a work inspired by their visual art. In the 24-25 season, 8 artists were chosen and received a stipend for their work and given space in our building during the performance weekend to display their works in a gallery space of their artwork. New in the 25-26 season, Dancers Making Dances: “Words We Cannot Say,” will give voice to our dancers and artists to present created works with a more focused topic of social importance. CDT will present this weekend of works at the newly renovated Nick Marzella Family Theater in CDT's black box theater October 10th-12th.
