This course is for teachers and practitioners who want to learn more about Yin Yoga in the context of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 12 meridians.
TCM offers a holistic approach to optimal health and wellbeing which emphasizes harmonizing with nature. We will explore the 5 elements in depth to understand their functions and how we may cultivate balance within each element. After tracing each meridian’s pathway, participants will focus on which Yin postures encourage Qi flow along the target areas. Each day of the training will include at least one full-length Yin yoga practice.
Yoga teachers can earn up to 20 CEUs for the 300 / 500 RYT certification and /or continuing education requirement with Yoga Alliance.
