
This class is for adults of any age and children who are able to walk with minimal assistance, up to 4 years old.
The first of its kind in Minnesota, Ballet Royale's original Mommy/Daddy & Me offer a special opportunity for parents and toddlers to bond through a fun and educational activity. Together, you'll explore the basics of ballet technique using songs, imagination, and age-appropriate movement.
Pre-ballet helps develop children's gross motor skills, class discipline, musicality, balance, posture, flexibility, focus, and spatial awareness.

This class is for students new to ballet and ages 7+ or who have completed Pre-Ballet III by instructor approval.
Students are introduced to barre work, and develop basic ballet elements and conditioning in a controlled and structured setting. In addition, they continue to development of coordination, musicality, fine and gross motor skills, posture, balance, coordination and self expression.
Average Time of Level Completion: 1 Semester

Students who are ready to participate without a parent or guardian.Using songs, imagination, and age-appropriate movement, dancers learn basic ballet technique.

Class Placement: Completed Mommy/Daddy & Me by Instructor Approval or 3 yrs old by July 1, 2025.
Average Time of Level Completion: 2-3 Semesters

This class builds upon the pre-ballet curriculum taught in Pre-Ballet I and introduces new ballet steps, vocabulary, and classroom etiquette and transitions. It focuses on developing children's fine and gross motor skills, class discipline, musicality, balance, posture, strength and flexibility, focus, and spatial awareness.
Class Placement: Completed Pre-Ballet I by Instructor Approval or 5 yrs old by July 1, 2025.
Average Time of Level Completion: 2-3 Semesters

This class builds upon the pre-ballet curriculum taught in Creative Dance II and introduces new ballet steps, vocabulary, and concepts. Students continue to develop gross and fine motor skills, strength and flexibility, rhythm, musicality, discipline, body and spatial awareness, balance, posture, coordination, cooperation, working with a partner, creativity, stage directions and patterns, and self-expression.
Class Placement: Completed Creative Dance II by Instructor
Approval or 6 yrs old by July 1, 2025.
