course is for absolute beginners and those new to Salsa dancing.
There are no pre-requisites for this course and you do not have to
have your own partner to enroll.

Ultimate Access Members have
access to this course but must commit to the entire 6
weeks.
*This is a partner dancing class but students are not
required to register with a partner. All students will be partnered
up with a fellow student or one of our friendly helpers. Dancers
have the option to rotate during the class so everyone has a chance
to dance with everyone.

(Cali style Salsa) Course on Mondays starts Jul

This course is for Experienced Salsa dancers.
Salsa
Caleño is the name for the style of Salsa originating from Cali,
Colombia (hence the name “Cali style”) It is characterized by quick
footwork with a more rigid frame than other styles of Salsa. Cali
style dancers are known for their lighting quick feet!
Like all salsa, Salsa Caleño can be danced to all kinds of salsa music - even though you'll find this style primarily danced socially in Cali, it is starting to gain popularity all over the world - it requires partners to both have a strong sense of connection, timing and synchronization and is crazy fun to dance once you get the hang of the basic!

This course is open to all experienced Salsa dancers who have a solid grasp of their Salsa and/or Cumbia basics. Prior experience in Salsa Caleño is not required.

Pre-requisite: This course is for dancers who have
completed at least 24 weeks of Baza's Salsa Fundamental courses AND
have been actively social dancing for 6 months AND pass an
assessment by their instructor.
Current
Fundamentals students: if you have not yet received permission
to move up to Intermediate please take some time to speak with your
instructor or schedule an assessment by emailing us at dance@bazadance.com
Students new to Baza: If you have not completed Bachata Fundamentals with Baza please contact us at dance@bazadance.com to schedule an assessment.
