Our food choices play a critical role in our health, and Āyurvedic science teaches us how to use our senses to choose foods that consistently make a positive impact to our health and well being. Āyurveda categorizes foods into six tastes and uses this knowledge to sync with the patterns of nature, impacting not only our physical health, but our mental health as well.
Join us as we explore these six tastes and how to use them to create Āyurvedic “bowls”, meals that intuitively balance our dośa, and eat with the seasons for optimal health. We will also cook and sample Kitchori, a staple comfort food in Āyurveda that gives our systems a rest and reset!
