A 6-week introduction to the practice of yoga.
All students attending will be beginners. Start from the beginning and work your way to the more compex poses. Focus is on proper alignment, preventing injury, increasing flexibility, strength and stamina and starting to understand the mind/body connection, Must be able to get up and down from the floor. Common conditions like back ache, shoulder stiffness, knee pain and stiff bodies are welcome!
This is not a gentle yoga class (Please book Gentler Yoga).

Join Lindsay for a journey inward. Enjoy the soothing sounds of her crystal bowls played over a carefully selected and soothing playlist. Lindsay will guide you through a short meditation and then into the world of Yin Yoga. We will hold the poses for 5-7 minutes with lots of props to support the body.

March- Amelia River Cruise 2 pm. Bring your own drinks and snacks to share. We will be on a 1 1/2 hour cruise, plan accordingly for sun, weather, temperature etc. We will leave from the Amelia River Cruise docks at downtown docks.

Respiration is life. Life cannot happen without it. It is a biological process where we generate energy from nutrients air in and air out. Some of us have difficulty with breath. Conditions where the air either does not want to go in or out can happen. Learn how Iyengar Yoga can help improve our quality of life through better breathing.
