This Gentle Flow yoga practice takes the principles of the Hatha Flow style you love and slows it to an intentional, centering style of yoga teaching. Gentle Flow yoga will provide you with ample opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension while being coached through yogic breathing techniques. Emphasis is placed on mindfulness and alignment of the body for an intentional, safe experience.
Just like the temperature, the atmosphere in a Hygge Yoga class (pronounced hoo-gah) is gentle, warm, and cozy with togetherness of community highlighted. The parlor and hot tea bar open 30-minutes before each class to relax and enjoy the company of classmates and new friends. We highly encourage full use of this bonus-time to experience the full benefit of this class series. This is a signature Flow Motion yoga class designed to balance the nervous system for those living high-stress lives.
Yin yoga is explored in our Hygge class series where you'll experience a slow-paced style of yoga with postures held for longer periods of time to achieve a deep stretch and state of relaxation. As you breathe through each asana, you will be invited to find your body’s “edge.” By creating and then working through this tension in the body, you'll find release, healing, and mental clarity. Practice and patience is encouraged as your body releases into each pose with the aid of breath and focused attention.
This class is simple with candlelight and aromatherapy, using doTerra's Hygge blend of essential oils affecting mood and emotions as soon as you walk in. Students also enjoy a northern lights display, tying in the Scandinavian roots of the Hygge movement, and working synergistically to help set the mood of contentment with the little things in this class.
This 4-week series of 60-minute classes gives those who have learned the basics in our Intro to Aerial Yoga 4-week class series (pre-requisite) an opportunity to develop strength and flexibility in a fun way. The aerial yoga swing is a great tool for suspension training! Build confidence, master the poses, and have fun with Fit to Fly classes!

Our Infrared Hot Vin Yin Yoga will add a detox component to your yoga experience. You'll feel more connected and centered in each pose with the sun-like warmth of infrared warming you - perfect for those with aches and pains from inflammation. As you flow through every pose, you'll sweat, stretch, unwind, and release all of the tension your body has accumulated from a stressful day.
The fusion of Vinyasa flow - heat/strength/balance, is blended with Yin's internal awareness - quieting of the mind and body.
