Join Dr. Em Pinto, a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and co-owner of Pinto Innovative Health & Wellness for a conversation about how to cu through today's overwhelming health trends and focus on what truly supports longevity. Dr. Em will explore the science behind practices like movement, hot yoga, sauna, and cold exposture and how they help build a stronger, more resilient body for the decades ahead.
After the lecture, participants will have the opportunity to experience the infrared sauna and cold plunge. As this is a community event, attendees must adhere to the policies and procedures set forth for use and there may be a time restriction associated with use. Bathing suits or athetic wear (sports bras/running shorts,etc) are recommended.
The Yoga-Pilates Connection Practice Lab will blend the mindful practice of yoga with the core-focused strength of pilates. As we flow through the practice, we will experience how pilates and yoga compliment eachother. It will create a stronger more balance practice. You can expect a joyful and energetic practice that builds strength, improves flexibility and deepens body awarness.
