Introducing Smart Strength Basics: Build a Stronger Foundation!

Get started on your fitness journey or enhance your current routine with our new Smart Strength Basics class! Designed for those looking to build lean muscle, shape and tone their body, and improve strength, mobility, stability, and endurance, this class focuses on bodyweight exercises, bands, and dumbbells. By emphasizing good form and technique, Smart Strength Basics helps you lay a solid foundation for your fitness goals.

Progressions and modifications are offered in each session to meet you where you are and challenge you as you advance. For those interested, this class is the perfect stepping stone into our regular Smart Strength classes.

This class takes place in our large studio, accommodating up to 8 participants, while still providing the individualized attention necessary to ensure proper exercise execution, safety, and effective results.

What Smart Strength Basics is NOT:

- Not a bootcamp or circuit training class. Exercises are performed slowly and controlled with active rest periods between exercises to maximize effectiveness.

- Not a cardio or high-impact class. This low-impact training style gets your heart pumping without the need for jumping around.

- Not your typical group fitness class. Individualized attention is given to ensure proper form, avoiding injury, and achieving more impactful results.

If you want to boost your metabolism, prevent signs of aging, strengthen your muscles and bones, or simply feel strong and confident in your body, Smart Strength Basics is the perfect class for you!

Small Group Strength Training that teaches you how to workout smarter, not harder, with the most effective muscle building exercises in just 60 minutes.

This 8-week series of classes is geared towards women who want to build muscle, get stronger, shed excess body fat, and achieve a more sculpted looking body.

In each class, you'll be guided through the most effective muscle building exercises in just 60-minutes. The goal is to workout SMARTER, not harder. These classes will follow a phased program to avoid hitting plateaus that lead to frustration and burnout.

Best part is, you'll have a qualified personal trainer by your side to guide you through each class and ensure that exercises are being executed properly, so you avoid injury and get results. Your progress will be tracked each class to ensure you are moving in the right direction. Classes will also include mobility training and chats about nutrition for optimal performance and results.

If you want to reap all the benefits of a strong and fit body, this program is for you!

SPACE IS LIMITED! Only 4 spots available in each class. We are looking for motivated individuals who are willing and ready to commit to training two times a week for 8 consecutive weeks.

Restorative Yoga: Slowing Down and Waking Up
 
Creating resilience and adaptability in today’s world
 
Does your distracted, overstimulated nervous system crave relief? You don’t need to do more, you need to do less. Experience the spacious silence of Restorative Yoga within a small and intimate group setting as it teaches you how to downshift your mind, body and breath to create resilience in your everyday life. Allow your body to rest deeply and revitalize. Whether you are feeling weak, fatigued, stressed from daily activities, this relaxing and adaptive yoga practice is accessible to everybody and state of mind. Restorative yoga opens up the body as opposed to stretching, using props like bolsters, blankets, straps, weighted sandbags, eye pillows and chairs to create poses of ease and comfort that facilitate relaxation and improved health.
 
These deeply relaxing poses help you:
  • Rebalance your mind and body
  • Create feelings of well-being
  • Recover from injury or illness
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Elevate and stabilize your mood
Specific Restorative poses will be practiced for anxiety, depression, fatigue and stress, lower back pain, migraine headaches, menopause, and cramps during menstrual period. A selection of organic herbal teas will be offered at each practice to soothe the mind and calm the body along with aromatherapy to promote deep relaxation and a sense of well being.
 
Teacher will assist each student with coming into each of 4-5 restorative poses with several props provided by the studio.

Foundation STOTT Pilates®

Foundation Pilates class is designed to teach you all the basics of STOTT® Pilates improving your body’s alignment, building core strength, engaging your pelvic floor, improving joint stability, optimizing breath and muscle efficiency, and heightening your mind-body awareness.
 
Expect to learn the essential movements and principals that lay the groundwork for your practice through one-on-one teaching using verbal and physical cueing.
 
Students can have postural assessment done before the class evaluating your flexibility and stability. Based on your results certain matwork exercises will be recommended to meet your individual goals and improve your overall fitness in a safe and intelligent way.

Foundation STOTT Pilates® is designed as a comprehensive 4-week series, giving you ample time to learn and master a variety of exercises. Our instructor provides personalized guidance, ensuring you practice each movement with proper form and technique. This program is the ideal stepping stone to prepare you for our regular Pilates classes.

Total Barre® is a low impact, upbeat and fun Barre and Pilates class designed to mobilize, energize and help you find balance on and off the mat. Innovative strength and cardio exercises will transform your body from head to toe, combining movement patterns that will tone, shape and strengthen your buns, hips, thighs and calves.

The ultimate full-body workout creating long, lean muscles with plenty of modifications to feel supported using props, such as the mini stability ball, hand-weights, balancing balls, exercise band and parallel stability ballet barre. You will be challenged to find our edge using your fitness stamina and moving to the beat of curated playlists.

No dance experience necessary. Workout is designed for every fitness level, from beginner to experienced.

Enjoy personalized attention in this unheated small group class, limited to 4 participants per session.
