**This 4-week series will be on Mondays 815pm-930pm
In this series you’ll be introduced to grounded and descending inversions, and trick combinations. We will also engage in strength training and conditioning in every session.
Strength and stamina conditioning is intensified in this course as we weave movements together into short combinations. By the end of the series you’ll be able to piece movements together with confidence.
(Each session is 75 mins and is once per week for four weeks in a row.)

Students will learn to hang and invert from the hoop, as well as to sit and change position within the hoop. From there, beginning poses, transitions, and sequences will be introduced with an emphasis on technique and strength to prepare students for higher level skills.
As with all aerial classes, students are encouraged to take additional flexibility classes. It is recommended that students wear tight-fitting clothing that covers the back of the knees, low/mid back, and armpits.

New to Lyra? This class is for you! You will learn foundational moves and combinations. In this class we will start with a thorough warm up, learn basic skills and various techniques to enter and exit from the hoop along with conditioning, strength, and flexibility exercises.
This class is designed to introduce beginning students to the fundamentals of lyra (aerial hoop).
