Close to a decade of teaching, the best advice June gives her students is to practice with a beginner’s mind. She believes the roots of Yoga might start as a physical form to hold the strength of the body, but with time, effort and patience the practice can transform lives. In this beginner’s course, June will introduce you to the foundation of the practice through solid alignments in relation to the seven major chakras. The East and West components of the classes will be the gateway to get to know Yoga.
The course includes a free week of unlimited yoga after the conclusion of the course.
We provide all props. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water to hydrate, and be prepared to learn a lot! Looking forward to seeing you.
Although we encourage you to come to the studio, please let us know in advance should you need to practice from home and we will arrange for a Zoom link.

Mental health is often the last thing to be considered when it comes to our overall well-being. We focus on hormones, diet, and exercise—which are all incredibly important—but so often, women overlook or downplay how they are feeling, ignore thought patterns that are critical, and neglect caring for themselves emotionally. Yet these internal experiences have a huge impact on shaping the direction of our relationships, our self-understanding, and the path of personal growth we take moving forward as move from one life stage to another.
In our next session of MV’s Education Series, join Clinical Psychologist Dr. Tracy Butterworth as she discusses the most recent evidence-based research on women’s mental health, the patterns that she sees recurring in her patients in her practice, and actions we can take to improve our mental self-care.
MV members and 10 Class Pass Holders: Free of charge
Non-members: $30
1-2pm Saturday 14 June 2025
