Ages 4-10
Your child will spend a week playing and learning about music in a fun, physical way! With our counselor’s guidance, children will explore the play structures, learn interactive songs, play musical games and explore rhythms with various percussion instruments. They’ll also get an introduction to the piano, drums and ukulele. Throughout the week they will design and make their own musical instruments and learn how to play them as a group with different rhythms and tempos.

We’ve distilled the curriculum from our popular Group Piano classes down to five, half days of lessons and activities that introduce kids to one of the easiest instruments on which to start! They’ll learn the basics of the piano, how it works and a little of its history. They’ll learn about musical notes and rhythms, how they are written with numbers and symbols, and by the end of the week, they’ll have learned how to play their first songs!
