Slow Flow & Sound Bath

Join Sami Fitz and Lydiana Abbott for a gentle and restorative evening of yoga and sound. The perfect way to end the week and reset for the weekend.

Lydiana will start the evening with a slow flow yoga practice which is suitable for everyone including beginners and pre and post natal.

After the yoga flow, Lydiana will share a guided Yoga Nidra meditation allowing you to surrender to the Sound Journey, weaving in the steady sounds of gongs, singing bowls and Sami's soothing voice.

Sound meditation can help support relaxation, creativity, focus, stress, sleep issue, anxiety, confidence, mood, and well-being. Sami's sound practice combines both ancient and practical techniques that ensure clients have meditation tools that they can use to find inner calm in our modern busy lives.

The intention of this workshop is to provide a safe space to deeply relax and to let go of what is no longer serving you.

Yoga mats, bolsters and blankets provided.
Comfortable loose clothing is recommended and you are welcome to bring your own eye mask.

What is a Sound Meditation?
Sound healing has been used for centuries. In fact, it’s one of the oldest healing practices and almost every culture has used sound as part of ceremonies, prayer, and daily life. Nowadays, sound baths and meditation have become a popular antidote for modern-day stress. The steady sounds of gongs, singing bowls, voice, and other percussive instruments can help calm our nervous systems and allow us to dive into the subconscious; while also connecting us to our deeper minds and our roles in the larger world. Some people who find silent meditation difficult, find sound meditation allows them to easily dive into a meditative practice.

How does Souned Meditation work?

Sound Meditation is accessible to almost everyone. All you have to do is come with an open mind and allow the sound to vibrate around and within you. The gong covers a spectrum of sound and vibrates all the cells, bones, and organs of the body. These vibrations and frequencies help us to reach a meditative state which allows us to slow down and calm our brains.

It is not recommended for people with metal allergies, pacemakers or anyone in their first trimester of pregnancy.

Conscious Connected Breathwork with Sound Healing

Embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing through Conscious Connected Breathwork, a simple yet profound practice of deep circular breathing. This technique allows you to access subconscious realms in order to release stress, tension and emotional blockages and helps to harmonize the body, mind and spirit.
 
This two-hour workshop will include guided warm-up exercises and a relaxation period with sound healing. After the breathwork journey, we'll finish in a circle where you'll be invited to share your experience or simply listen and connect with others. The breathwork is guided throughout and Faith may offer 1:1 adjustments during the session, respecting individual boundaries.
