Our Junior Ninja class is a playful and supportive introduction to movement for our youngest athletes. Designed for ages 4 to 6, this class encourages kids to explore obstacles at their own pace while developing balance, coordination, and confidence. Parents are encouraged to participate, helping their children try out challenges and celebrate progress along the way.
Each session begins with a fun, coach-led warm-up and a review of simple safety protocols to keep everyone moving confidently. Coaches will then introduce the obstacle “loops of the day” and guide ninjas through climbing, crawling, jumping, and swinging activities. Along the way, we look for opportunities to introduce essential primal movement patterns—like squatting, hinging, and crawling—as well as foundational ninja skills that build strength, agility, and body awareness.
Our goal is to create a safe, positive, and exciting environment where kids and parents work together, building a strong foundation for lifelong movement and play.
Ages 6-13. This class follows the season block schedule. Classes are purchased for the term of the seasonal block. The class format is an 8:1 athlete to coach ratio where athletes are grouped by age within a class and work with a coach on a rotation schedule at each obstacle of the day. The essentials class teaches the essential skills of Ninja Training and exposes each athlete to all of the obstacles by the end of the block. Course evaluations throughout the block will help the athlete and parent know where the athlete is getting stronger and which areas they can work on and HOW they can improve them! Great for beginners and advanced Ninjas!
