
This “Introduction to Ballroom Dancing” class is designed for beginners to experience the joy of ballroom dancing. Participants will learn the fundamental steps and basics of several popular ballroom styles like the Waltz, Foxtrot, and Swing, gaining confidence and skills for social dancing.
In addition to learning the foundational footwork for each dance style, you will be learning to lead or follow with proper dance position and musicality.
Ballroom dancing has been popular for years and continues to thrive today. It's fun, social, and an excellent way to learn a new skill, there’s a whole host of physical and mental benefits that come with ballroom dancing.
Whether you’re an experienced dancer or haven’t stepped foot on a dancefloor in years, the good news is that anyone can learn ballroom dancing – and take great enjoyment from it too.
When attending Group Classes, coming with a partner is recommended but not required.

This BEGINNER SWING DANCE CLASS is for Homeschool students, their family members, and friends.
This class is an introduction to the footwork, timing, and rhythm as it applies to your dancing. The class will also cover how to lead and/or how to follow, as well as the importance of a dance-frame, which are all important parts of being a successful partner dancer.
As the series progresses new steps and turns will be added. Thus, we don't allow new students to join the 6-week series after the second class. Please wait for a new series to join at the beginning.
