In this series we will work on a choreography that combines foundational chains moves with stylistic flow. We will begin our series with learning how to find confidence in poses with the chains separated like body loops. Through our combo, we will cover how to bring the chains together to be used like a hammock. By the end, each student will leave with a versatile routine that can be built on should they choose to continue their chains journey. Whether you’re a beginner or a returning chains student, everyone will be learning something new!
Class prerequisites: 3 month minimum aerial or pole experience. Ability to invert on any apparatus (ie. straddle back in the hammock, lay back on the pole, star on the bar on lyra or trapeze, etc.)
Heels suggested, but not required. Wear clothing that covers legs, armpits, and midriff at least for the first class.
