Yoga for Neck and Shoulder Health: A Therapeutic Approach

Expect gentle, accessible yoga sequences, self-massage techniques, and modifications tailored to meet a wide range of needs and body types.

The New Moon Women's Sacred Circle is a gathering of women that takes place during the New Moon phase. This event creates a safe and intentional space for deep connection, reflection, and setting intentions. It often includes rituals, sharing personal experiences, meditation, and journaling, all aimed at harnessing the energy of the new moon for personal growth and manifestation. This circle is considered a sacred space to honor feminine energy and celebrate the cyclical nature of life.

This 90-minute Pop-Up Class is designed to help you:
Ease back pain & build strength in appropriate ways
Learn simple techniques to relax, realign & strengthen your spine
Gain mobility and freedom across your back (and therefore in your shoulders and hips)
Build inspiration for your (short!) daily back-care practice
Explore the underlying principles (the why and how) of mindful back-care techniques
We'll problem-solve effective and approachable ways to work with common sensitivities and conditions – with plenty of time for questions.
You’ll leave this workshop inspired with a number of new tools in your toolbox for supporting yourself, and (if you teach yoga) your students.

Do you find yourself slumping when you sit? Do you have neck pain and shoulder tightness? Do you catch yourself looking at your phone, head forward, upper spine curving? You're not alone!
This Workshop will give you a chance to:
• Lengthen and relax your neck
• Unwind the tension in your upper back and jaw
• Let go of the ropes connecting your shoulders to your ears
• Release subconscious patterns of holding tension in your neck and shoulders, as well as in your upper back (hint: it’s all connected!)
• Tune into and find ease in your upper body
We'll practice yoga poses and movements, both using props and free form, to help you identify areas of tightness, contraction and stiffness -- and to let them go.
You will leave with new tools in your toolkit for releasing your neck, as well as helpful ways to maintain ease and balance in your upper body.
