Sangha means community—and this monthly gathering is an invitation to build a meditation practice together, in a supportive and approachable way. Designed to be beginner-friendly, this experience offers space to learn, explore, and settle into stillness alongside others on a similar path.
Each session includes light discussion, guidance through several meditation styles, and a 10-minute silent meditation to help you integrate the techniques and gain confidence in your own practice. Whether you’re brand new to meditation or looking for consistency and community, this sangha offers a grounding place to return each month.
Participants can expect to:
-
Develop increased mental focus and clarity
-
Build confidence in a personal, at-home meditation practice
-
Experience accountability through monthly meetings
-
Cultivate deeper self-awareness and overall well-being
Please wear comfortable clothing and enjoy a light meal beforehand.

Celebrate love in all its forms with a cozy, connection-centered Valentine’s event at True Love Yoga. Whether you’re joining with a partner, a friend, or someone you simply love being around, this workshop is designed to nourish your heart, uplift your spirit, and deepen your sense of closeness.
We’ll begin with a
heart-opening cacao
ceremony, featuring warm ceremonial-style cocoa,
intentional reflection, and guided conversation to honor
connection, compassion, and joy.
After our gentle ceremony, we'll begin a playful and grounding
partner yoga
practice, exploring supportive poses, shared breath, and
mindful movement that cultivate trust, presence, and ease. Expect
lighthearted moments, gentle challenge, and opportunities to both
rely on and uplift one another.
This workshop is open to all levels and all relationships—couples, best friends, family members, or anyone wanting to celebrate love + connection.
Come ready to move, laugh, soften, and savor a sweet moment in time.
In winter, nature invites us inward. Vairāgya—the yogic
principle of non-attachment—offers us the same invitation: to
soften, to surrender, and to let go of what we no longer need. This
2-hour workshop blends slow, supportive yin yoga, targeted
myofascial release, and a deeply restorative yoga nidra practice.
With candlelight, breathwork, and space to feel, you’ll be guided
to gently unwind physical tension and energetic holding from the
year past.
This is not about doing more—it’s about remembering that you are
enough, even in stillness. Leave feeling grounded, rested, and
aligned with the quiet wisdom of winter.
Open to all levels Mats and props provided Please dress in cozy,
layered clothing

At True Love Yoga, we believe yoga is more than a physical practice—it’s a living expression of compassion, connection, and collective care. Mindful Flow for AIRR is an opportunity to move, breathe, and come together in solidarity with our Kansas City neighbors—whether you join us in the studio or from home.
Join Liz for a 75-minute practice blending a warming vinyasa flow, cooling yin postures, and guided meditation. This intentional sequence creates space to energize the body, soften the nervous system, and reconnect with your breath while practicing yoga as an act of care and community.
All proceeds from this class will benefit Advocates for Immigrant Rights & Reconciliation (AIRR), a local 501(c)(3) organization that organizes and activates immigrants in Kansas and Missouri to advocate for their rights, dignity, and well-being. Supporting AIRR aligns deeply with True Love Yoga’s mission of inclusivity, justice, and creating spaces where everyone belongs.
This offering invites you to show up—on the mat and in the world—with empathy, intention, and love. Move with purpose. Breathe together. Practice in solidarity.
