Functional Movement (Balance & Strength) Fitness Session

Join Pamela, in this safe group setting whereby you build each week at your own level, around the same group for 8 weeks.
 
This class is thoughtfully designed to enhance strength, balance, and confidence in your body. We’ll use a variety of equipment—including weights (1–20 lbs), resistance bands, and other props—to support each individual at their own level and build progress week by week.
 
Join us in a welcoming and supportive environment where we work together as a group to focus on improving bone and joint health, while also nurturing mental well-being.
 
All levels welcome. All bodies celebrated.
 
Date: Fridays starting September 19th - November 7th (8 week series)

Fall Trail Hike 6 Week Session 2025

Trail Hike Session: Power Hike, Hike or Gentle Hike

Join us every Tuesday this Fall for our trail hike session. There is a pace for everyone.
 
Date: Tuesdays starting September 9th - October 14th (6 week series)
Time: 6:00 – 7:00pm
Investment: $90 + hst
Location: Near Vicki Tree Wellness studio 3626 Line 5 North
Leads: Virginia and Kelley
 
*** drop-in spots will be available if room at $20 per night in case you want to bring a friend occasionally.
 
We will start mostly near Vicki Tree Wellness. Each Sunday, should our location slightly change, we will email you that evening for the following Tuesday.
 
**Given space is limited, there are no credits/transfers or make-ups for classes missed Thank you for your understanding.
 
We also have a Restorative Class starting at 7:15pm each Tuesday that may be a nice compliment for your hike night. You can book this class online each week if you feel up to it!
 
FORMAT FOR TRAIL HIKE CLASS:
  • Hike at your pace for 55 minutes.
  • Hiking with the focus of getting your heart rate up and moving your body at a comfortable but challenging pace. The class will divide into 3 groups to accommodate various speeds and will cover 3 – 5km each week. All levels welcome. At your own pace – always!

Fall Retreat: Sweat & Soothe - Wednesday, October 1st

Join us for our Fall Retreat on Wednesday, October 1st from 9:00 am - 4:00pm.

We will start your day by energizing both body and mind and then unwind into the afternoon for some soothing reset and refresh.

The Morning Energy Burn session includes a refreshing forest hike, invigorating mat Pilates, a motivational talk to ignite your inner fire, and an empowering upper body sculpt session.

Our Midday Reset is a pause and refuel with a delicious, healthy lunch surrounded by nature — the perfect fuel for body and soul.

Afternoon Unwind eases us into the afternoon with a gentle “Happy Hips & Back” stretch session, designed to melt tension and open the body.

The Grand Finale will allow us to let go completely in the 90-minute HOT STONE Relaxation Class — a blissful blend of soothing hot stone restorative techniques, pampering touches, and magical extras that will leave you floating.

True to its name, this is your day to Sweat & Soothe — all within the stunning, tranquil sanctuary of Vicki Tree, nestled deep in the woods of the majestic forest.

ITINERARY:

9:00am: Arrival & Settle In

9:15am: Set the Tone

9:30am: Forest Hike (Option of two levels)

10:30am: Energy Ball Snack Break

10:45am: Mat Pilates Core Focus (45 minutes)

11:30am: Round Circle Discussion (Wellness Topic)

12:15pm: Healthy Lunch

1:00pm: Upper Body Strength (30 min with light weights)

1:30pm: Gentle Stretch Happy Hips (30 min)

2:00pm: Pampering Hot Stone Relaxation Class (90 min of Sounds, Gentle Touch and Pampering)

3:45pm: Closing Circle

4:00pm: Departure

Please Bring:

  • Bring a change of clothes (new bra, SOCKS, undergarments, shirt and pants and so forth as you will get cold if you do not change from head to toe after snowshoe or movement class.) Have 2 outfits (one for movement, one for yoga). Dress in layers (don’t forget new/extra socks).

  • Two large pillow case for the provided bolster (king or reg size)

  • Water bottle & yoga mat (we will have one on the floor already so you can have extra cushion with yours - or opt to only use ours!) We have lots of mats so no worries if you do not have one!

  • Outdoor hiking attire to stay warm where you can peel off layers once we warm up.

  • Positive attitude ready to energize in the morning and unwind + relax in afternoon

Lunch Menu Options: (TBD)

Once you register, we will reach out with ideas for healthy lunch options. Options include for your to order is an energy ball, main, dessert & beverage. The lunches will be homemade by Melina Sue from Oro Home Kitchen (licensed home business) and served in an environmentally friendly lunch box She makes it fresh the morning of :) and can accommodate all dietary restrictions. **Please note: that while we (Vicki Tree) may facilitate the ordering of lunches from Oro Home Kitchen or another provider, the contractual relationship is between client and such third party provider.
