“Shinrin yoku,” “Forest Bathing,” “Nature Therapy,”
“Outdoor Mindfulness,” many terms to describe a
rather simple thing: time spent in nature is healing and
restorative. Come learn why and be introduced to a few simple
practices that might serve to inspire and deepen your own
nature-based wellness routine. You’ll learn the science behind
forest bathing, its origins in 1990’s Japan, and the ways it is
being used in the United States today. Whether you spend hours a
week outdoors or can’t remember the last time you sat under a tree,
this session will offer new ways of thinking about your
relationship with nature and with the more than human world.

The Power of Posture: Unlocking Balance and Ease (Fri, 6/12)
Posture isn’t fixed—it’s fluid. It ebbs and flows, always
seeking balance with gravity.
Standing well is a dynamic interplay of opposing forces.
- Your bones hold you up.
- Your muscles move you.
- Your nervous system tells the muscles how to move the bones.
When your bones are aligned, your nervous system can relax—and let’s be honest, most of us could use a little more relaxation (if not a lot).
Alignment gives your muscles a break. Instead of working
overtime to support misaligned bones, they’re free to do what
they’re meant to do: move you with ease.
Aligning your bones is one of the simplest—and most powerful—ways
to support graceful aging. It lets your nerves flow freely and
helps your whole body function more efficiently.
Improving your posture is like switching from regular to premium fuel. You’re still the same car, but your performance gets a serious upgrade.
It’s not hard to change your posture—but it’s not something we
tend to do naturally.
This workshop will teach you simple, lasting shifts that go a long
way.
Pain Free: The Power
Of Walking Well (Sat, 6/13)
We all walk—but
few of us ever stop to consider how we walk, or whether
it’s contributing to pain we’ve learned to live with.
What if changing the way you walk could relieve years of chronic
discomfort?
In this workshop, you’ll learn a natural walking technique that
helps align your bones, free your joints, and reduce overworked
muscles. When the body moves as it was designed to, movement
becomes easier, more efficient, and far less painful.
Using CoreWalking techniques, you’ll
discover how to bring your body into a balanced, individualized
state of healing—step by step.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Boost energy and reduce muscle fatigue
- Ease lower back pain and joint discomfort
- Build core strength with every step
- Support a healthier, more resilient stress response

Psoas
Release Party! (Sun, Jun 14)
A free and balanced psoas allows your body to move with efficiency,
ease, and minimal strain. As the body’s primary hip flexor, the
psoas plays a vital role in walking, standing, and even how we
process pain and trauma. When the body can’t fully process stress
or energy in the moment, it often stores it in the psoas—leading to
chronic tension, hip and lower-back pain, joint discomfort, and a
nervous system stuck on high alert.
If you’ve been dealing with pain that no one seems able to
diagnose—and you keep hearing “nothing is wrong”—your psoas may be
the missing link.
In this live workshop, you’ll learn how to align, use, and release
your psoas through simple, mostly effortless techniques designed to
restore balance, relieve pain, and support healthy, graceful aging.
Expect clear insight, practical tools, and a deep sense of ease in
your hips, pelvis, and lower back.
