Join us for Inspired Growth: A Sound Healing with Austin Shook for a TWO HOUR sound healing experience!
Come wake up your ability to hear with more than your ears as you bathe in the sounds of 14 different instruments! You are invited to let go and just be as you receive the harmonies and vibrations washing over and moving through you.
Austin Shook of Alignment Sound Energy will play an array of instruments to aid you in achieving deep relaxation and to guide you into the parasympathetic state of your nervous system. With the aid of these instruments, space will be held for you to connect with the deeper aspects of yourself. This experience is an invitation to enter into your own essence, deeply connect with your body through ethereal sound vibration; to release, soften, unwind, envision and to meditate.
Sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being. Sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. Come let healing processes be initiated by the unique tones of this sound bath, creating the perfect state for deep meditation, creative thinking and intuitive messages. Students are encouraged to wear unrestrictive athletic wear to allow ease of movement and relaxation.
Please bring a yoga mat and expect to use studio props, including blankets and bolsters.
About Austin Shook: Austin Shook, based out of Charlotte, NC, has been traveling around the US over the last 8 years and has shared sound healing in roughly 41 states through more than 1,000 sound healings. Join us for this two hour Fascial Release workshop with Tricia Kull:
Fascia is connective tissue that surrounds your muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and organs. When it’s healthy, fascia allows your muscles to slide and glide as you move, but when your fascia gets tight and stuck, it can restrict your movement and breath, and even cause pain.
In this workshop, we will use tools, simple techniques, and yoga poses to release layers of fascia in the feet and legs. This practice will help create renewed slide and glide in the tissues of your hips, knees, and feet, and make space for more easeful movement.
