Belly Dance Class with Habiba – All Levels Welcome
Discover the joy, artistry, and power of belly dance in this
introductory class designed for beginners and experienced dancers
alike. We’ll explore the fundamentals of belly dance
technique—isolations, posture, shimmies, and fluid movement—while
building strength, coordination, and confidence.
Beginners will learn the essential foundations at a comfortable
pace, while more experienced dancers will have opportunities to
refine technique, deepen musicality, and add expressive details.
Each class includes a warm-up, technique breakdowns, movement
combinations, and guided practice, with variations offered so
everyone can dance at their own level.
No prior dance experience is required—just a willingness to move,
explore, and have fun. Come connect with your body, enjoy the
music, and experience the beauty and empowerment of belly dance in
a welcoming, inclusive environment.
The intro class is just $10!
Step into a story of change that is empowering and nurturing.
For women, Menopause is a powerful and natural transition.
Ayurveda and Yoga offer time-tested tools to support you physically and emotionally during and after this time of great change.
Connect with other women experiencing this transition.
The three sessions build on each other offering time for practice, reflection and questions. Experience Yoga and Ayurveda self-care in community, sample foods and teas, and take home nourishing oils, balms and practices to try.
Ready to take your belly dance journey to the next level? This 8-week mixed-level series is designed for dancers with some prior experience or those who have completed the foundational course. We'll build on core techniques with more challenging combinations, layered movements, and a dynamic choreography that evolves throughout the series.
You’ll be introduced to props such as canes, sagat (finger cymbals) and silk fans, exploring rhythm and coordination in new and exciting ways. This class encourages growth, creativity, and a willingness to try new things in a supportive, fun environment.
New students with previous dance experience may be accepted at the instructor’s discretion.
Transition into spring with a heightened sense of presence. Nāda Yoga is a contemplative practice of mindful listening, using sound as a pathway to deeper self-awareness.
The event is co-created by yoga teacher and musician Kasia and her friends Vina, Leah, and Meghan, together forming an all-female string quartet. Melting melodies of violins, viola and cello guide participants through a series of composed works and improvised soundscapes, drawing attention to both external and internal sound.
The workshop invites participants to dive into “restorative listening,” allowing the mind to rest on the sound wave and simply be in the present moment. This relaxed way of making music is not a performance but rather a share-formance, a mutual act of listening in community. There is no concert etiquette to follow; feel free to lie down, move with the sound, or rest in a restorative pose. Offer your breath and voice, and let us enter this soundscape together.
What to expect: We’ll move through opening breathwork, live music, guided deep listening, a collective chant, and optional restorative yoga movement. If you have a yoga mat and comfy clothes, you’re welcome to bring them—otherwise, simply arrive as you are.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $30–$40. Please select the option you resonate with most.
