Welcome Spring with a renewing Sound Bath & Yin Yoga experience, led by Miki Gilliam, Yoga Teacher and Sound Healer.
A Sound Bath is a meditative experience where participants are immersed in soothing sound vibrations through the use of singing bowls, gongs, drumming, and such, to promote a state of relaxation, reduce stress, and support emotional well-being.
Yin Yoga is a grounded and therapeutic yoga practice, with postures seated, laying down prone or reclined, supported by the use of props to one's comfort level. Postures are long held with breathwork to ease and release tension in the body.
By combining a Sound Bath with Yin Yoga, participants will heighten their sensory experience, which enhances meditation and mindfulness, and can lead to deeper relation and stress reduction, as well as encourage an emotional and energetic release.
Expect movement to be intentional in an effort to encourage stillness.
