Including arm balances in your yoga practice strengthens your core and shoulders, improves your flexibility, mental focus, balance, and body awareness while encouraging a playfulness to your practice. In this 2-hour workshop, we will open with a warm-up vinyasa flow, spend most of our time exploring individual and sequenced arm balances, then end with a 15min cool-down. We will breakdown a wide range of arm balances: firefly, hurdler’s pose, dragonfly, 8-angle pose, and many more. This workshop will introduce tips, tricks, modifications, and intermediate versions. While designed for intermediate and advanced practitioners, this workshop is for any yogi looking to find new heights. Find new balance and come fly with me!
