Adding, promoting, and removing a belt from a client’s profile

Belts can be added and removed from a client’s profile to track their progress. Once a belt is added to a client’s profile, you can promote the client to higher belt levels and add character and skill values to the belt. Character and skill values can be used to represent anything you want. For example, you can use skill values to represent the stripe level of the belt.

In this article:

    To add a belt to a client’s profile:

    1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , and enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
    2. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.
    3. Under Belts on the right of the client profile, click the ADD BELTS
    4. If you have multiple belt categories, select the appropriate category from the list. The first belt in the selected category will be added to the client’s profile. By default, the first belt in the category will be the belt that was created first. For information about reordering your belts within a category, see Creating, modifying, and deactivating a belt.

    To promote a client to a higher belt level:

    1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , and enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
    2. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.
    3. Click PROMOTE BELTS on the belt you want to promote.
    4. Select the appropriate belt from the list and click SAVE.

    To modify the promotion date for a client’s belt:

    1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , and enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
    2. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.
    3. Under the belt you want to modify, next to Promoted on, click the Edit button.
    4. Click the Calendar button and select a new date.
    5. Click SAVE.

    To add character and skill values to a client’s belt:

    1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , and enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
    2. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.
    3. Under the belt to which you want to add character and/or skill values, click the Edit button  next to either CHARACTER or SKILL.
    4. Select the character and/or skill values you want to add to the client’s belt.
    5. Click SAVE.

    To remove a belt from a client’s profile:

    1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , and enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
    2. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.
    3. Click the X in the top-right corner of the belt you want to remove.
    4. In the confirmation window, click OK.
