All Transactions Beta Report

The All Transactions Beta Report is a sales report that displays a detailed list of all transactions made at your business. This report provides an all-in-one solution for business owners to view and manage transactions, along with a set of filters for advanced report tracking.

    To view the All Transactions Beta Report:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click Reports.
    3. On the Reports menu, click Sales.
    4. On the Sales menu, click All Transactions Beta Report. The All Transactions Beta Report is displayed.

    Summary cards in the All Transactions Beta Report

    In addition to the summary cards listed below, summary cards corresponding to any customized taxes you have created will also be available.

    Summary cardDescription
    Total ItemsThe total quantity of items purchased during the selected date range. This summary card is visible when the View Mode advanced filter is set to Item View.
    Total PaymentsThe total number transactions that took place during the selected date range. This summary card is visible when the View Mode advanced filter is set to Payment View.
    Total SalesThe total amount of sales that occurred during the selected date range.
    TaxesThe total amount of taxes levied on all transactions during the selected date range.

    Headings in the All Transactions Beta Report

    HeadingDescription
    Transaction IDThe transaction ID of the sale.
    Client NameThe name of the client who made the transaction.
    Transaction TimeThe time at which the transaction was made.
    LocationThe location at which the transaction was made.
    Revenue CategoryIf you use revenue categories to organize your online store, the category (or categories) set for the item in the transaction.
    QuantityThe number of items sold to the client as part of the transaction.
    ItemThe name of the item.
    AmountThe amount of the transaction excluding discounts, taxes, and tips.
    Total SalesThe amount of the transaction before applied discount(s).
    Groupon CodeThe Groupon code that was used for the purchase, if any.
    Discount CodeThe discount code that was used for the purchase, if any.
    Discount AmountThe amount of the discount applied to the transaction, if any.
    Total Net SalesThe total transaction amount before taxes and after any applied discount(s).
    Custom TaxOne or more tax columns will be generated based on the taxes that you have set up for your business. Each column will list the amount of tax charged for the sale. For example, Sales Tax (GST/HST).
    Total TaxesThe total amount of taxes applied to the transaction.
    Total Sale AmountThe total amount of the transaction after applied taxes.
    Total TipsThe total amount of tips associated with the transaction.
    Total AmountThe total amount of the transaction after discount(s), taxes, and tips.
    Total PaidThe total amount of the transaction paid by the client.
    Total ReceiptsThe outstanding balance amount for partially paid transactions.
    Payment MethodThe payment method used by the client to make the transaction. If the client used multiple payment methods to make the transaction, each payment method will be listed in this column.
    Transaction OriginThe source of the transaction, such as scheduled payment or installment plan.
    Transaction BalanceThe balance of the transaction.

    Advanced filters in the All Transactions Report

    FilterDescription
    View ModeUse this filter to determine the method by which each line item in the report is organized. The options are:

    • Item View – When this filter is selected, items that were purchased within one transaction are displayed as separate transactions. For example, if a client purchased three items in one transaction, each purchase is shown in a separate row with the same transaction ID.
    • Payment View – When this filter is selected, items that were purchased within one transaction are grouped together and shown as a single transaction. For example, if a client purchases three items in a single transaction, this purchase is shown as one transaction.
    ClassesUse this filter to determine which Classes to include in the report.
    Gift CardsUse this filter to determine which gift cards to include in the report.
    Display sales with discountsUse this filter to determine whether to include discounted sales in the report.
    Discount CodesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on which discount codes were applied to the sale.
    EventsUse this filter to determine which Events to include in the report.
    Introductory OfferUse this filter to determine whether to include introductory offers in the report.
    GroupsUse this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client group.
    NoteThis filter will pull any relevant information from the available fields. For example, if you filter for groups A, B, and C, the filter will find clients from group A, group B, group C, and any combination thereof, as opposed to only finding clients who belong to all three groups.
    Payment MethodUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on the payment methods used.
    Accounting MethodUse this filter to determine which sales to include based on whether accrual or cash accounting methods were used. For more information, see FAQ: What is the difference between accrual and cash-based accounting?
    LocationsUse this filter to determine which business location(s) to include in the report.
    Account Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which Account Purchase Options to include in the report. Account Purchase Options are Purchase Options with Account Tab selected as the Purchase Option Service Category.     Appointment Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which Appointments Purchase Options to include in the report. Appointments Purchase Options are Purchase Options with Appointment selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Class & Events Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which Class & Events Purchase Options to include in the report. Class and Events Purchase Options are Purchase Options with Class/Events selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Daily DealsUse this filter to determine which Groupon deals to include in the report.
    Gym Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which Gym Purchase Options to include in the report. Gym Purchase Options are Purchase Options with Gym Visits Options selected as the Purchase Option Service Category.     Package Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which package(s) to include in the report. For more information, see Creating or modifying a package.
    OthersUse this filter to determine whether to include other purchases in the report.
    Purchase or Money OwnerUse this filter to determine which items to include in the report based on who made the purchase; the client who received the item or the client who paid for the item.
    Auto-RenewUse this filter to determine which Purchase Options to include based on whether auto-renew is on or off.
    Point of SaleThe platform through which the sale was made.
    Revenue CategoriesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on the revenue categories they are classified under.
    Charged TaxesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on whether the client was or was not charged taxes.
    TaxesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on which tax types were applied to them. The options available in this filter are dependent on the taxes you have set up in your store. Selecting a tax filter will display all sales to which that tax was applied. Selecting the No taxes filter will filter for sales that do not have taxes applied to them.
    NoteIf the tax amount of a sale is manually changed to zero when the sale is made, the sale will still be considered taxed and can be filtered for using the appropriate tax filter.
    Bookable AssetsUse this filter to determine which BOOK-A-SPOT™ assets to include in the report.
    DepositUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on whether they were made with or without a deposit.
    AppointmentsUse this filter to determine which Appointment Types to include in the report.
    ProductsUse this filter to determine which product(s) to include in the report.
