Automated email template settings

This article describes all the options available when customizing automated notifications and automated marketing campaigns. Several templates have the SEND RULES setting that allows you to specify when your notifications will be sent out.

NoteWhen you set the Email send rules for an automated notification or automated marketing campaign, the rules are also applied to the SMS message and push notifications for that automated notification or marketing campaign. For example, if you set the email notification to be sent only to a specific client group, the SMS message and push notification are sent only to that specific client group as well.

SEND RULESSpecify when your email will be sent out. For example, in the Event Reminder Template email, you can set how many hours before the start of an event to send out a reminder email:

  • Send email in [number] hours before

You can send automated notifications to only specific client types or client groups.

  • Set the Send only to specific client types option to ON to send the automated notification to one or more client types.
    • Select which client types will receive the automated notification by selecting the appropriate checkboxes. If you want to send the automated notification to all client types, select the Select All checkbox.
  • Set the Send only to specific client groups option to ON to send the automated notification to one or more client groups.
    • Select which client groups will receive the automated notification by selecting the appropriate checkboxes. If you want to send the automated notification to all client groups, select the Select All
    • Select the Isaac Churn Risk checkbox to send the notification only to clients who are predicted to be at risk of leaving on the Isaac Churn Risk Report.

NoteIf you have selected multiple client types and/or client groups, the email will only be sent to clients who fall under both categories. For example, if you choose to send the notification to two different client groups and a client is only in one of the client groups, the client will not receive the notification.

NoteThis setting also applies to SMS and Push notifications.
