Chargeback is the return of funds from your business to the customer. Specifically, it is the reversal of a purchase from your business where the funds are returned to the customer. For example, a client had purchased a membership from your business and the transaction completes, but at a later time, the transaction is reversed and you no longer have the payment for the membership.

Chargeback can occur on purchases for various reasons. We understand that, as a business owner, this can be a frustrating issue to deal with. However, before opening a support ticket, please make sure that you investigate the issue by contacting the following parties:

  1. Your Merchant Processor
  2. The Client; from our experience, chargeback is usually requested by the client
