Check-Ins Report

The Check-Ins Report is an attendance report that displays detailed information about client check-ins to your services at your business during the selected date range. This report can be used to gain a detailed picture of client check-ins to your services. The summary cards at the top of the page provide an overview of the key information in the report.

This article describes how to view the Check-Ins Report and provides details of the columns that appear in the report. To learn how to customize and filter the report, see Viewing a report.

    To view the Check-Ins Report:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Reports. You can filter the list by entering Reports into the Search field.
    4. On the Reports menu, click Attendance.
    5. On the Attendance menu, click Check-Ins. The Check-Ins Report is displayed.

    Summary cards in the Check-Ins Report

    Summary cardDescription
    TotalThe total number of clients that checked in to services at your business during the selected date range.

    Headings in the Check-Ins Report

    HeadingDescription
    ClientThe name, email, and profile image of the client who checked in is listed in this column. Relevant details about this customer, such as pass status, waiver status, contract status, special notes, unpaid visits, and account balance will be noted here by small icons. Hover over any icon to learn more.
    DateThe date of the scheduled service. This heading is only displayed when the selected date range is more than one day.
    TimeThe start time of the scheduled service.
    Service NameThe name of the service that the client attended.
    TypeThe method used to check the client in to a service. The possible options are:

    NoteClients will not be able to check themselves in until you Allow client self check-in in your Client Self Check-In Web App settings.
    Purchase OptionThe purchase option that was used by the client to check in to the service.

    Advanced filters in the Check-Ins Report

    FilterDescription
    Gym VisitsUse this filter to determine whether to include gym visits in the report.
    GroupsUse this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client group.
    NoteThis filter will pull any relevant information from the available fields. For example, if you filter for groups A, B, and C, the filter will find clients from group A, group B, group C, and any combination thereof, as opposed to only finding clients who belong to all three groups.
    StaffUse this filter to determine which staff members to include in the report.
    Start Time RangeUse this filter to determine which check-ins to include in the report based on the specific time range during which they occurred.
    Day of the WeekUse this filter to determine which check-ins to include in this report based on the day(s) of the week they occurred.
    ClassesUse this filter to determine which classes to include in the report.
    EventsUse this filter to determine which events to include in the report.
    AppointmentsUse this filter to determine which appointment types to include in the report.
    Client StatusUse this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on whether they currently have an active purchase option.
    Client TypesUse this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client type.
    Bookable AssetsUse this filter to determine which Book-a-Spot assets to include in the report.
    LocationsUse this filter to determine which locations to include in the report.
    Account Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which account purchase options to include in the report. Account purchase options are purchase options with Account Tab selected as the Purchase Option Service Category.     Appointment Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which appointments purchase options to include in the report. Appointments purchase options are purchase options with Appointment selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Asset Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which asset purchase options to include in the report. Asset purchase options are purchase options with Asset selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Class & Events Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which class/event purchase options to include in the report. Class/event purchase options are purchase options with Class/Events selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Gym Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which gym purchase options to include in the report. Gym purchase options are purchase options with Gym Visits Options selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Other Purchase OptionsUse this filter to display or hide unpaid sessions, free sessions, and sessions that were paid for without using purchase options. Options include:

    • Event Purchase – sessions that were bought as part of an event purchase
    • Free – sessions that were free
    • Not paid – sessions that were not paid for
    • Other Purchase Options – sessions that were purchased through ClassPass or Gympass
    • Single Sessions – sessions that were paid for as one-time purchases
