Client Self Check-In Web App settings

To ensure quick and easy attendance, your clients can check themselves in to a service using several options. Clients can check in online using the Client Web App or the Achieve Client Web App. Clients can also check in at your physical location using the Client Self-Check-In Web App or the Attendance Web App.

The following table describes each setting that you can use to customize the Client Self Check-In Web App. You can also configure your self check-in policies under the Allow client self check-in setting. To learn how to access these settings, see Customizing your web applications.

SettingDescription
Business LogoDetermines the appearance of your company logo on the Client Self Check-In Web App. We recommend that you use a PNG image with a transparent background. The minimum resolution for this image is 220×100, the maximum resolution is 1024×1024, and the maximum file size is 20 MB.
Display Business NameSet this option to ON or OFF to determine whether the name of the business is displayed in Client Self Check-In Web App. When this option is set to ON, you must enter the name of the business under BUSINESS NAME.
Background ColorDetermines the background color of your logo when the image has a transparent background.
Enable Check-In by ScanDetermines whether your clients can check-in using a barcode scanner. For more information, see Check-in Clients using barcode scanner.
Enable Check-In by EmailDetermines whether your clients can check-in using their email address.
Display Confirmation ScreenDetermines whether a Confirmation Screen is displayed when clients self check-in.
Display Confirmation Screen for [Amount] secondsDetermines how long a Confirmation Screen is shown before returning to the Client Web App.
Allow client check-in to sessions in progressTo allow clients to check themselves into sessions that are already in progress, set this option to ON. Clients will be able to check themselves in up to 15 minutes after the session start time.
Allow client to check-in unpaidTo allow clients to check themselves into sessions that have not been paid for yet, set this option to ON.
Allow client check-in without booking priorTo allow clients to check themselves into sessions that have not been booked ahead of time, set this option to ON.
Allow client self check-inWhen this option is set to ON, you can choose how clients can check themselves in to sessions.
The following options are displayed:

  • Allows clients to check in using the Client Web App and Achieve Web App
  • Allows clients to check in using the Attendance Web App and Self Check-in Web App
Allow automatic client self check-insTo allow clients to be automatically checked into sessions via the Client Self Check-in Web App, set this option to ON.
Allow clients to check in to sessions up to [Amount] [Duration].Determines how soon before a session begins that clients are allowed to check themselves into the session.

NoteIf the client is also a staff member at the business, they can check themselves into a session at any time, regardless of this setting.
