Client Web App: Booking a Book-a-Spot asset

Your clients can book Book-a-Spot assets on the Client Web App. Before your clients can book a Book-a-Spot asset, make sure you have completed the following:

To book a Book-a-Spot asset in the Client Web App:

  1. On the top menu, click Book now.
  2. Click the tab that contains the asset that you’re booking. By default, this tab is named Assets. For more information, see Client Web App: Book now tabs.
  3. Click the tab that contains the asset that you’re booking. By default, this is named Assets.
  4. Depending on the booking policy set, you will be required to select either the asset or the date & time first.
    • If you’re prompted to select the asset first:
      1. Under Select Assets, select the checkbox next to the asset you want to book.
        • To scroll directly to assets under a specific asset category, select that category under Select Assets.
        • If you want to book additional assets, select the checkboxes beside each asset. You can book up to four assets at a time.
      2. Click Select date & time.
      3. If the business has the appropriate business policies enabled, select your time zone from the list. Then, select your desired date and time for the asset booking. Open days with available times appear in blue, while open days with no available times appear in black and can’t be selected. Closed days appear grayed out and can’t be selected.
        • If the asset is already booked, the time will be labeled WAIT LIST and after booking, you will be placed on a wait list for the asset.
    • If you’re prompted to select the date and time first:
      1. Under Select Time, if the business has the appropriate business policies enabled, select your time zone from the list. Then, select your desired date and time for the asset booking.
        • If the asset is already booked, the time will be labeled WAIT LIST and after booking, you will be placed on a wait list for the asset.
      2. Under Select Assets, select the checkbox next to the asset you want to book.
        • To scroll directly to assets under a specific asset category, select that category under Select Assets.
        • If you want to book additional assets, select the checkboxes beside each asset. You can book up to four assets at a time.
      3. Click Select Purchase Option.
  5. If you’re not already signed in to the Client Web App, click Sign in. On the Sign in to Continue page, you must either sign in to your existing WellnessLiving account or sign up for a new account.
    • If you’re signing up for a new account:
      1. At the bottom of the sign-in area, click Sign up.
      2. Complete all the mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk) and click Sign up.
      3. If the business requires new clients to sign a waiver, review the terms and conditions, select the I agree to use Electronic Signatures checkbox, then click Sign Waiver.
      4. Enter your electronic signature, then click Submit Signature.
  6. If you don’t own a Purchase Option that you can use to pay for the asset, select a Purchase Option under BUY A PURCHASE OPTION to add it to the cart.
    • If you already own a Purchase Option that you can use to pay for the asset, the first applicable Purchase Option is automatically selected.
  7. If you’re booking multiple assets at the same time, click Select date & time for the next asset and repeat steps 5 and 7 to set all the asset details and select a Purchase Option for each of them.
    • If the Purchase Option for the first asset can be applied to subsequent assets, that Purchase Option will be automatically selected.
  8. When you have set all asset details and selected all Purchase Options, complete the booking process.
    • If you already own the selected Purchase Options, review the booking details and click Complete Booking.
      • If you want to use other Purchase Options, click the Edit icon  to return to the Select Purchase Option screen, then select a different Purchase Option you own or select a new one to purchase.
    • If you’re buying a new Purchase Option:
      • To pay now, click Book & Pay Now. Confirm the details and click Checkout. Select each payment method you want to use on the Checkout screen. In most cases, the total payment is split between the selected payment methods equally, but you can adjust the amounts as required.
        • If you have a code for a gift card, enter the code under GIFT CARD, then click Apply. You can only apply a maximum of one gift card or one discount code.
        • If you have a code for a discount, enter the code under DISCOUNT CODE, then click Apply. You can only apply a maximum of one gift card or one discount code.
      • To pay later, click Book & Pay Later. 
  9. Click Complete Booking.
  10. Once the appointment has been booked, you can click the buttons on the Thanks for Booking page to perform additional actions:
    • Click Book Another Asset to book another asset.
    • You can print or email the receipt at this time. For more information, see Printing receipts and Emailing receipts.
    • You can share your asset booking by clicking Share on Facebook or Share on Twitter.
