From the Billing tab of the client profile, clients can view their billing information, make a payment to their account balance, redeem gift cards and other redemption codes, add credit cards, and add ACH account information.
When viewing and managing your billing information, keep the following information in mind:
- When no default payment method is selected and a client is automatically billed, the most recent credit card or ACH payment method saved to the client’s profile will be used by default.
- Clients can only add money to their account if your business has merchant processing set up and the Allow clients to make online payments towards their account balance option is enabled in your business’s Store Settings.
- A client with family members can only add a credit card or ACH information to a linked profile when they switch to the family member’s linked profile. For more information, see To view a family member’s profile under Client Web App: Managing family members.
- Clients can’t select ACH as a payment method during online checkout. Only staff members can process a client’s transaction using the default ACH payment method. A custom ACH payment method needs to be set up to allow clients to use their ACH account.
- Clients can’t delete their credit card or ACH billing information. Only staff members can delete a client’s billing information. To view billing information in the Client Web App:
- In the top menu, click My Profile.
- Click Billing. Your billing information is displayed.
To add to your account balance in the Client Web App:
- In the top menu, click My Profile.
- Click Billing.
- Under Account Balance, click Make a payment.
- To view a history of transactions related to your account balance, click View history.
- Under DEBIT AMOUNT, enter the amount you want to add to your account balance.
- Select a payment method:
- To pay with a credit or debit card that is already saved on your account, select the relevant option under CHOOSE CARD.
- To pay with a new debit or credit card, click ADD NEW to add a new card for your selected payment method and enter the necessary billing information.
- If you select multiple payment methods, the payment will be split equally between the different methods, but you can adjust the amounts by entering a custom value under PAYMENT AMOUNT for each method.
- Click Complete.
To redeem a gift card or redemption code:
- In the top menu, click My Profile.
- Click Billing.
- Under Daily Deal or Gift Card Redemption Code, enter the code.
- Click Submit.
- The gift card or redemption code is applied to your account.
To add a credit card in the Client Web App:
- In the top menu, click My Profile.
- Click Billing.
- Under Saved Credit Cards, click ADD CREDIT CARD.
- Enter your credit card information and billing details in the appropriate fields.
- Select Set as default payment method to make this your default payment method.
- Click Save.
To add an ACH account in the Client Web App:
- In the top menu, click My Profile.
- Click Billing.
- Under Saved ACH accounts, click ADD ACH ACCOUNT.
- Enter your ACH account information and billing details in the appropriate fields.
- Select Set as default payment method to make this your default payment method.
- Click Save.
