You can send emails, SMS messages, and push notifications to multiple clients at the same time. This can be done from the Client Groups page, the client list, an attendance list, or any report with a QUICK Contact button.

Notes
- You can’t contact clients from staff reports.
- You can send a maximum of 4,000 emails per hour or 40,000 emails per day to your clients, regardless of the number of locations in your business.
- If you access the client list and have no default filters, no clients are displayed. You must create a POWER Search to populate the list.
- Clients must have the EMAIL notification setting under Account Management set to ON to receive custom email template messages. This includes email messages sent using QUICK Contact. For more information, see Changing a client’s communications settings.
- If your SMS message is longer than 160 characters, it will be sent as a multipart message. You can send a multipart message up to 1,530 characters long (153 characters per message up to 10 messages). For more information, see SMS character limit.
In this article:
To contact a group of clients from the Client Groups page:
- Click the App Drawer button
.
- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
- On the Setup menu, click Clients.
- On the Clients menu, click Client Groups.
- Find the client group you want to contact, click the Action button
, and select QUICK Contact.
- If you want to contact multiple groups of clients, select the checkbox next to each client group you want to contact, then click the QUICK Contact button at the bottom of the page.
- Select whether you want to send an email, SMS message, push notification, or postcard and then compose your message.
- To send an email, click Email.
- To track the email message in your Email Campaign Report, set the Track as a campaign option to ON and enter the campaign’s name in the field.
- This option is automatically set to ON if there are more than 10 clients selected.
- To send the email to every selected client even if multiple clients share an email address, set the Send to each client option to ON.
- Under Template name, select a template, if applicable.
- Under Compose email:
- Make any necessary changes to the template’s settings. For more information, see Automated email template settings.
- Make any necessary changes to the template’s content and appearance using the basic editor or click Visual Editor for more advanced options. For more information, see Modifying an email template using the visual editor.
- Click View email variables to display a list of variables that can be used in your template. To add a variable to your template, click the Copy button
next to a variable, then paste it in the content field. For more information, see Email variables.
- To track the email message in your Email Campaign Report, set the Track as a campaign option to ON and enter the campaign’s name in the field.
- To send an SMS message, click SMS.
- Under Select a template, select a template from the list or compose a new message. Be aware of the SMS character limitations.
- Click View SMS variables to display a list of variables that can be used in your template. To add a variable to your template, click the Copy button next to a variable, then paste it in the content field. For more information, see SMS variables.
- To send a push notification, click Push and type your message in the text box.
- To send a postcard, click Postcard and select the postcard you want to send.
- This option is only available after you have subscribed to the direct mail campaign.
- To send an email, click Email.
- Click Send.

- To search the report using custom criteria, select an existing or create a new Power Search.
- In the first column, select the checkbox next to Client to select all clients listed, or select only the checkboxes next to the specific clients you want to contact.
- Click QUICK Contact.
- Select whether you want to send an email, SMS message, push notification, or postcard and then compose your message.
- To send an email, click Email.
- To track the email message in your Email Campaign Report, set the Track as a campaign option to ON and enter the campaign’s name in the field.
- This option is automatically set to ON if there are more than 10 clients selected.

- On the report, filter or search for the group of clients you want to contact:
- Click the Filter button to filter your clients by custom fields. For more information, see Client list advanced filters.
- To search the report using custom criteria, select an existing or create a new Power Search.
- Select the clients you want to contact.
- To select a specific record in the report, select the checkbox next to that row.
- To select every row on the page of the report you are currently viewing, select the checkbox next to the column headings at the top of the report.
- To select every record in the report, select the checkbox next to the column headings at the top of the report and then select the Select all records from all pages checkbox.
- Click QUICK Contact in the report header.
- If QUICK Contact isn't displayed in the report header, click the Action button
and then click QUICK Contact.
- If QUICK Contact isn't displayed in the report header, click the Action button

- In the Schedule, find the class or event for which you want to view the attendance list, as follows:
- If you are using Calendar View, click the class or event.
- If you are using List View, in the Service column, click the name of the class or event.
- In the class or event window, click View Attendance List. The attendance list is displayed.
- Select the checkbox next to Client Name in the first column to select all clients listed or select the checkboxes next to only those you want to contact.
- Select whether you want to send an email, SMS message, push notification, or postcard and then compose your message.
- To send an email, click Email.
- To track the email message in your Email Campaign Report, set the Track as a campaign option to ON and enter the campaign’s name in the field.
- This option is automatically set to ON if there are more than 10 clients selected.
- To send the email to every selected client even if multiple clients share an email address, set the Send to each client option to ON.
