Contacting an individual client

You can send an email or SMS text message to an individual client directly from their profile. Staying in contact with clients fosters a sense of community and support, resulting in higher retention rates. For more information, see communication with clients.

To contact an individual client:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button , and enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
  2. In the list of clients displayed, click the client’s name.
  3. Choose the medium through which you want to send your message:
    • To send an email message:
      1. Click the Send email button  next to the client’s email address. An email interface is displayed.
      2. To track the email message in your Email Campaign Report, set the TRACK AS A CAMPAIGN option to ON and enter the campaign’s name in the box.
      3. Under SELECT A TEMPLATE, select an existing template from the list. You can select Empty template to compose a new email.
      4. Under Compose Email, enter the email details and message in the fields or make any necessary changes to the template. For more information, see Automated email template settings and Email variables.
    • To send an SMS message:
      1. Click the Send sms button  next to the client’s phone number. An SMS interface is displayed.
      2. Under SELECT A TEMPLATE, select an existing template from the list. You can select Empty template to compose a new SMS message.
      3. Under SMS TEXT, enter the content of the notification. Be aware of the SMS character limitations.
  4. Click SEND. The message is sent to the email or phone number on file.
