You can create, modify, or duplicate different packages to offer specific packages to your clients through WellnessLiving. Each package can be adjusted to offer clients the exact combination of items they need at the price you set.
After creating and selling a package, you can make changes to its global settings that will affect all packages of that type sold in the future and all previously sold versions of that package. For more information, see Modifying a Purchase Option.
Notes
- A package can’t contain more than 500 items.
- A package can’t be created using the same name as an existing package. If you want to name a new package using the same name as a deactivated package, we recommend that you change the name of the deactivated package.
- If a client’s package is modified, it will appear as a new transaction on the client’s Transactions page. The new transaction may take several hours to appear after the package is modified.
- If a membership or session pass that is shared with a family member is included in a package, it won’t be shared with the family member when the package automatically renews. To continue allowing the membership or session pass to be shared with the family member, you must manually share it from the package owner’s client profile.
- To avoid double billing clients for memberships or session passes that are included in an auto-renewing package, we recommend creating your package in the following ways:
- If you want all the Purchase Options included in a package to automatically renew, set the package to automatically renew after a specified duration and remove automatic renewal from each membership or session pass included in the package. For more information, see Session pass general information settings or Membership general information settings.
- If you only want a specific Purchase Option within a package to automatically renew, set the membership or session pass to automatically renew after a specified duration. Then remove automatic renewal from the package by selecting the Do nothing option under After Expiration and the Does not expire option under Select Expiration. For more information, see Package advanced settings.
- Session passes and memberships within a package will automatically inherit the same start date as the package. However, you can configure session passes and memberships settings so that their start date is different from the package’s start date. For more information, see Session pass general information settings and Membership general settings.
- If you change the activation date for a Purchase Option to a date that causes it to expire, you must remove the Status filter to view expired Purchase Options on the Purchase Options page.
