Creating or modifying a direct mail campaign

You can create a direct mail campaign to send postcards to clients through WellnessLiving if both your business and clients are located in the United States. Once you have created a campaign, the postcard is sent to the selected clients via USPS.

To create or modify a direct mail campaign:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click Direct Mail.
  3. On the Direct Mail menu, click Campaigns.
  4. On the Direct Mail page, create or modify a direct mail campaign:
    • To create a new direct mail campaign, click ADD NEW.
    • To modify a pending direct mail campaign, click the Action button An image of the more button which is three gray dots stacked vertically. next to the direct mail campaign name and select Edit from the menu. The Edit option is only available for pending campaigns.
  5. Under CAMPAIGN NAME, enter a name for the direct mail campaign.
  6. Under DELIVERY DATE, select a date from the calendar. The direct mail campaign will be delivered on the selected date. Click NEXT.
  7. Choose your template:
    • Under LOAD EXISTING TEMPLATE, select the existing postcard template that you want to use.
    • Upload a new template:
      1. Under FRONT, drag-and-drop the image file or click Upload your front, choose a file from your computer’s file browser, and click Open.
      2. Under BACK, drag-and-drop the image file or click Upload your back, choose a file from your computer’s file browser, and click Open.
  1. Click NEXT.
  2. Determine which clients will receive the direct mail campaign. Your choices are:
    • Client Groups– Select the checkbox next to Client Groups, then select the checkbox next to each client group to which you want to send the direct mail campaign. The clients in the selected groups will be recipients.
    • Client Types– Select the checkbox next to Client Types, then select the checkbox next to each client type to which you want to send the direct mail campaign. Clients of the selected types will be recipients.
    • Entire list– Select whether you want to send the campaign to all clients by selecting Select All, or to only Active or Inactive
  3. Click NEXT.
  4. On the Verification page, In Progress is displayed while the recipients’ addresses are being verified. The estimated time and the elapsed time are listed here.
    • The verification process may take up to two hours to complete, depending on the number of recipients whose addresses have not yet been verified. Wait for the verification process to complete or click Save and Leave to check back later.
  5. If at least one address could not be verified, you must determine which clients with unverified addresses to send the direct mail campaign. Your choices are:
    • Send to Verified Only– Postcards will be sent only to clients whose addresses were verified.
    • Send to Verified & Unverified– If you choose this option, scroll down to view a list of unverified clients. Select the checkbox next to each client to whom you want to send a postcard. The selected clients and all clients whose addresses were verified will be recipients.
  6. Click NEXT. The Review page is displayed.
  7. Check that the details of the direct mail campaign are correct and click SEND. The campaign will have a status of Pending until it is sent. When your postcards are sent, the campaign will have a status of Sent.
