Creating or modifying a direct mail campaign

You can create a direct mail campaign to send postcards to clients through WellnessLiving if both your business and clients are located in the United States. Once you have created a campaign, the postcard is sent via USPS to the selected clients.

To create or modify a direct mail campaign:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click Direct Mail.
  3. On the Direct Mail menu, click Campaigns.
  4. Create or modify a direct mail campaign:
    • To create a new direct mail campaign, click ADD NEW.
    • To modify a pending direct mail campaign, click the Action button next to the direct mail campaign name and select Edit from the menu.
  5. Under CAMPAIGN NAME, enter a name for the direct mail campaign.
  6. Under DELIVERY DATE, select a week from the calendar. The direct mail campaign will be sent during the selected week.
  7. Under SENDER ADDRESS, verify that the address of your business is correct. If it is correct, click NEXT.
    • If any changes or additions are required, click Edit Details, update your address information, and click SAVE. Then go back to step 1.
  8. Upload the images to be used for the front and back of the postcard:
    1. Click Upload your [front or back], or, if you are modifying a direct mail campaign, click the displayed image to upload a different one.
    2. Use the file browser on your computer to select the image.
      • The minimum dimensions of the image are 1275 x 1875 pixels.
      • The maximum file size is 5 MB.
    3. Click the image and drag it until the part you want to be visible on the postcard is centered within the blue rectangle. You can also drag the edges of the blue rectangle to resize it.
    4. Click APPLY. The part of the image that will be visible on the postcard is displayed within the SAFE ZONE
  9. Click NEXT.
  10. Determine which clients will receive the direct mail campaign. Your choices are:
    • Client Groups – Select the checkbox next to each client group to which you want to send the direct mail campaign. The clients in the selected groups will be recipients.
    • Client Types – Select the checkbox next to each client type to which you want to send the direct mail campaign. Clients of the selected types will be recipients.
    • Entire list – Select whether to send the direct mail campaign to activated clients, deactivated clients, or both (all clients).
  11. Click NEXT. On the next page, Verification in progress is displayed while the recipients’ addresses are being verified. When the verification process is finished, the number of verified and unverified addresses is displayed.
    • The verification process may take up to two hours to complete, depending on the number of recipients whose addresses have not yet been verified. Wait for the verification process to complete or click Save and Leave to check back later.
  12. If at least one address could not be verified, you must determine which clients with unverified addresses to send the direct mail campaign to. Your choices are:
    • Send to Verified Only – Postcards will be sent only to clients whose addresses were verified.
    • Send to Verified & Unverified – If you choose this option, scroll down to view a list of unverified clients. Select the checkbox next to each client to whom you want to send a postcard. The selected clients and all clients whose addresses were verified will be recipients.
  13. Click NEXT. The Review page is displayed.
  14. Check that the details of the direct mail campaign are correct and click SEND. The status of the direct mail campaign will be Pending until it is sent out.
