Default client profile fields

This article contains a list of the client profile fields that are available and enabled by default. Each client’s personal information is displayed in their client profile. The information that can be entered is based on the default and custom client profile fields that you have enabled. For information about determining which fields are used by clients, see Customizing the client profile fields.

NoteThe field names in the table below reflect the default names for each field. These names can be modified when customizing the client profile fields.

Default fields

ImageA profile image that represents the client.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

First NameThe client’s first name.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

Last NameThe client’s last name.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

Email/UsernameThe client’s email address. This email address is used by the client to sign in to client areas of the system. All client email notifications will be directed to this email address.

This option must be REQUIRED BY CLIENT when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

Cell PhoneThe cell phone number at which the client can be contacted. SMS client notifications will be directed to this number.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

Home PhoneThe home phone number at which the client can be contacted.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

Work PhoneThe work phone number at which the client can be contacted.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

BirthdayThe client’s birthday.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT or REQUIRED BY STAFF when creating or modifying a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

If this field isn’t required, clients who haven’t entered their date of birth on their profile will not be able to book services with age restrictions.

GenderThe client’s gender. Contact WellnessLiving to make a gender-neutral option available for your staff members and clients.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

AddressThe client’s home or work address. This option will also enable the CITY and POSTAL/ZIP CODE fields on the client profile.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

Home LocationRepresents the business location that the client frequents.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

Referred ByWhen a client is referred to your business by another client, the referring client’s name and email address will be listed here.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

This option can also be set to ON or OFF. If it is set to ON, it will appear and be editable on client profiles. If it is set to OFF, it will not appear on client profiles.

Time zoneThe time zone the client selects as per their geographic location. This option is only available if the Allow clients to adjust time zone option is enabled in your Booking Policy Settings. If this option is not enabled, your services will be displayed to clients using your business’s time zone.

This option can be set to REQUIRED BY CLIENT and/or REQUIRED BY STAFF when modifying or creating a client profile. This option can be set to DISPLAY AT REGISTRATION for clients who book a service online for the first time.

Note If the user is not signed in, the Class schedule within the schedule widgets and Client Web App will be displayed using the time zone in the client’s browser. If the browser location is not available, the Class schedule will be displayed using your business’s time zone.
