Detailed Revenue By Service Report

The Detailed Revenue By Service Report is a sales report that displays a detailed breakdown of your revenue for each service that occurs during the selected date range.

This article describes how to view the Detailed Revenue By Service Report and provides details of the columns that appear in the report. To learn how to customize and filter the report, see Viewing a report.

NoteThis report works best with session based passes. The reported revenue can be misleading for clients that use time based passes or memberships as the calculation is based on the approximate revenue per session value that must be entered under the advanced settings of each purchase option that is used. This value will not truly represent the revenue derived from these clients.

    To view the Detailed Revenue By Service Report:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Reports. You can filter the list by entering Reports into the Search field.
    4. On the Reports menu, click Sales.
    5. On the Sales menu, click Detailed Revenue By Service. The Detailed Revenue By Service Report is displayed.

    Summary cards in the Detailed Revenue By Service Report

    Summary cardsDescription
    Total revenueThe total amount of revenue generated including taxes during the selected date range.
    TotalThe total number of transactions made during the selected date range.

    Headings in the Detailed Revenue By Service Report

    HeadingDescription
    ClientThe name, email, member ID, and profile image of the client who booked the service is listed in this column. Relevant details about this customer, such as pass status, waiver status, contract status, special notes, unpaid visits, and account balance will be noted here by small icons. Hover over any icon to learn more.
    DayThe date on which the service takes place.
    TimeThe time at which the service takes place.
    Service NameThe name of the service.
    Staff NameThe name and profile image of the staff member associated with the service. Click the staff member’s name to view their profile.
    StatusThe client’s attendance status for the service.
    Purchase OptionThe name of the Purchase Option used to attend the service is listed in this column. If a Purchase Option was not used, the possible payment options displayed in this column are:

    • Not Paid – The service was booked unpaid.
    • Single Session – The Class or Appointment was purchased individually.
    • Early Bird – The Event was purchased using the Early Bird Discount option.
    • Event Purchase – The Event was purchased using a one-time payment.
    • Event Deposit – The Event was purchased with a deposit.
    RevenueThe amount of revenue earned from this service.
    PayorA related client who made a payment for a service that was booked by the client.

    Bookable AssetsUse this filter to determine which Book-a-Spot assets to include in the report.
    Class & Events Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which class/event purchase options to include in the report. Class/event purchase options are purchase options with Class/Events selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Start Time RangeUse this filter to determine which services to include in the report based on the specific time range during which they began.
    ClassesUse this filter to determine which classes to include in the report.
    EventsUse this filter to determine which events to include in the report.
    AppointmentsUse this filter to determine which appointment types to include in the report.
    Asset Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which asset purchase options to include in the report. Asset purchase options are purchase options with Asset selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    StaffUse this filter to determine which staff members to include in the report.
    LocationsUse this filter to determine which locations to include in the report.
    Appointments Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which appointments purchase options to include in the report. Appointments purchase options are purchase options with Appointment selected as the Purchase Option Service Category.     Payor Use this filter to determine which services to include in the report based on the related clients who made the payment for the services.
