Detailed Revenue By Service Report

The Detailed Revenue By Service Report is a sales report that displays a detailed breakdown of your revenue for each service that occurs during the selected date range.

This article describes how to view the Detailed Revenue By Service Report and provides details of the columns that appear in the report. To learn how to customize and filter the report, see Viewing a report.

NoteThis report works best with session based passes. The reported revenue can be misleading for clients that use time based passes or memberships as the calculation is based on the approximate revenue per session value that must be entered under the advanced settings of each purchase option that is used. This value will not truly represent the revenue derived from these clients.

    To view the Detailed Revenue By Service Report:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click Reports.
    3. On the Reports menu, click Sales.
    4. On the Sales menu, click Detailed Revenue By Service. The Detailed Revenue By Service Report is displayed.

    Headings in the Detailed Revenue By Service Report

    Heading Description
    Day The date that the service occurs on.
    Time The time that the service occurs.
    Service Name The name of the service.
    Staff The name and profile image of the staff member associated with the service. Click the staff member’s name to view their profile.
    Client The name, email, member ID, and profile image of the client who booked the service is listed in this column. Relevant details about this customer, such as pass status, waiver status, contract status, special notes, unpaid visits, and account balance will be noted here by small icons. Hover over any icon to learn more.
    Purchase Option The name of the Purchase Option used to attend the service is listed in this column. If a Purchase Option was not used, the possible payment options displayed in this in this column are:

    • Not Paid – The service was not paid for.
    • Single Session – The Class or Appointment was purchased individually.
    • Early Bird – The Event was purchased using the Early Bird Discount option.
    • Event Purchase – The Event was purchased using a one-time payment.
    • Event Deposit – The Event was purchased with a deposit.
    Status The client’s attendance status for the service.
    Revenue The amount of revenue earned from this service.

    Advanced filters in the Detailed Revenue By Service Report

    Filter Description
    Bookable Assets Use this filter to determine which BOOK-A-SPOT™ assets to include in the report.
    Assets Purchase Options Use this filter to determine which Asset Purchase Options to include in the report. Asset Purchase Options are Purchase Options with the Asset Purchase Option Service Category.
    Time Use this filter to determine which to include in the report based on the specific time range during which they occurred.
    Classes Use this filter to determine which Classes to include in the report.
    Events Use this filter to determine which Events to include in the report.
    Appointments Use this filter to determine which Appointment Types to include in the report.
    Appointments Purchase Options Use this filter to determine which Appointments Purchase Options to include in the report. Appointments Purchase Options are Purchase Options with the Appointments Purchase Option Service Category.
    Class & Events Purchase Options Use this filter to determine which Class & Events Purchase Options to include in the report. Class & Events Purchase Options are Purchase Options with the Class/Events Purchase Option Service Category.
    Locations Use this filter to determine which business location(s) to include in the report.

    You can also use this filter to view purchases clients are making online. For example, if one of your business locations is named Location A, there will be both a Location A filter and a Location A Online filter available. The Location A filter will filter for sales made by staff members who are signed into Location A and purchases made through the Achieve Client App by clients whose home location is Location A. The Location A Online filter will filter for purchases made through the Client Web App by clients whose home location is Location A.
