Elevate Staff App: Managing classes

The Elevate Staff App can be used by staff members to book a client into a Class, mark a client’s attendance for a Class, substitute a staff member for a Class, and cancel Classes.

NoteIf client notifications are enabled for Class cancellations, affected clients are automatically notified even if you choose not to notify them in the Elevate Staff App. For more information, see Enabling or disabling staff and/or client notifications per service.

NoteIf you choose to display canceled Classes on the schedule, canceled Classes will appear in the Client Web App and not in the Achieve Client App.

In this article:

    To book a Class for a client:

    1. Tap the Schedule tab.
    2. Tap the Class you want to book for the client in the schedule.
    3. Tap the Add button .
    4. Search for the client you are adding by entering their name, phone number, or email in the search box. If the client does not have an account, tap Add New Client and create a new account:
      1. Enter the client’s information in the corresponding fields. For more information about client profile details, see Modifiable client profile details.
      2. Tap Create account.
      3. Tap Back to return to the Search for Clients screen.
      4. Under Recently Viewed, tap the client’s name.
    5. Tap the More button next to the client’s name .
    6. Add the client to the Class:
      • Tap Add Using Purchase Option to add the client to the Class using an applicable Purchase Option that the client owns.
      • Tap Add and Pay Now to add the client to the Class and purchase a drop-in rate or a new Purchase Option to pay for the Class.
        1. Tap Add next to the drop-in rate or Purchase Option that you want to purchase.
        2. Tap the Shopping Cart button  to review the cart.
        3. To see the details of an item, swipe left and tap Edit. Tap Remove from Cart to remove the item or tap Save to keep it.
        4. Apply any price adjustments (i.e., modify the price of the item directly) or discounts to the items in the Shopping cart, as required.
        5. If tips have been set up for the Elevate Staff App, select one of the displayed tip options.
        6. Tap Make a Payment.
        7. Select the payment method or methods.
        8. Tap Complete.
          • Tap Email Receipt to send a receipt to the client.
          • Tap No Receipt to send no receipt to the client.
        9. Tap Complete. The sale is complete.
      • Tap Add Unpaid to add the client without payment.

    To mark a client’s attendance:

    1. Tap the Schedule tab.
    2. Tap the Class for which you want to mark the client’s attendance in the schedule.
    3. Tap the More button next to the client’s name .
    4. Tap one of the following options to mark the attendance of the client:
      • Checked-In
      • Early Cancel
      • Late Cancel
      • No-Show

    To substitute a staff member for a Class:

    1. Tap the Schedule tab.
    2. Tap the Class for which you want to substitute the staff member in the schedule.
    3. Tap Substitute Instructor.
    4. Under Start Date, select a start date for the substitution to apply.
    5. Under End Date, select an end date for the substitution to apply. If the substitution should apply indefinitely, set All Sessions Going Forward to ON. Tap Next.
    6. If multiple sessions occur in the selected time period, select which Class sessions are affected by the substitution, then tap Next.
    7. Under Staff, select the staff member who should be substituted as the instructor for the Class.
    8. Under Pay Rate, select the pay rate the substitute staff member should receive for the Class.
    9. If you want to add one or more staff members as co-hosts for the service, tap Add Another Staff and repeat steps 8 and 9 for each staff member.
    10. Tap Next.
    11. To notify clients of the substitution, set Send Email to affected clients and/or Send SMS to affected clients to ON. Tap Next.
    12. Verify your changes, then tap Complete.

    To cancel a Class:

    1. Tap the Schedule tab.
    2. Tap the Class you want to cancel in the schedule.
    3. Tap Cancel Class.
    4. Under Start Date, select a start date for the cancellation.
    5. Under End Date, select an end date for the cancellation. If you want to cancel all future dates for the Class, set All Sessions Going Forward to ON. Tap Next.
    6. If multiple sessions occur in the selected time period, select which Class sessions are affected by the cancellation and tap Next.
    7. To notify clients of the substitution, set Send Email to affected clients and/or Send SMS to affected clients to ON. Tap Next.
    8. To display canceled sessions of the Class on the schedule, set Display as canceled on schedule to ON.
    9. Verify your changes, then tap Complete.
