Email Campaign Report

The Email Campaign Report is a marketing report that displays an overview of all automated marketing campaign emails that were sent to clients during the selected date range.

This article describes how to view the Email Campaign Report and provides details of the columns that appear in the report. To learn how to customize and filter the report, see Viewing a report. The summary cards at the top of the page provide an overview of the key information in the report.

NoteAn email status may not update if the recipient is using ad-blocker plug-ins or a secure email agent. For example, an email may have a status of Unopened even if the recipient has opened it.

In this article:

    To view the Email Campaign Report:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Reports. You can filter the list by entering Reports into the Search field.
    4. On the Reports menu, click Marketing.
    5. On the Marketing menu, click Email Campaign. The Email Campaign Report is displayed.

    Summary cards in the Email Campaign Report

    Summary cardsDescription
    UnopenedThe total number of emails sent in a campaign that were not opened during the selected date range.
    OpenedThe total number of emails sent in a campaign that were opened during the selected date range.
    FailedThe total number of emails that were sent but were not delivered during the selected date range.
    In QueueThe total number of emails that are waiting to be sent during the selected date range.
    TotalThe total number of emails that have been sent during the selected date range.

    Headings in the Email Campaign Report

    Click the number under the Unopened, Opened, Failed, In Queue, and Total columns to view a list of the affected clients.

    HeadingDescription
    CreatedThe date that the automated marketing email campaign was created.
    Sent byThe staff member who sent the email. If the email was sent by the system, this column will indicate that the email was Automated.
    CampaignThe name of the automated marketing email campaign.
    UnopenedThe number of emails of this type that were sent to clients but not opened during the selected date range.
    OpenedThe number of emails of this type that were sent to clients and opened during the selected date range.
    FailedThe number of emails of this type that were sent but failed to reach the client’s inbox during the selected date range. To learn more about the reasons an email can fail, see Email History Report.
    In QueueThe number of emails of this type that are waiting to be sent during the selected date range. If you click this number and the Pending status is displayed for any of the emails, you can hover over the status to view the reason for the delay.
    TotalThe total number of emails of this type that were sent during the selected date range.
    BodyClick the View Email button in this column to view the email that was sent. You can’t view an email that was sent to a client who has unsubscribed from marketing email messages.
    NoteStaff members must be assigned a staff role with the Manage contact logs permission to view the content of the email. For more information, see Staff role permissions.
