Widgets can be embedded into your website to provide your clients with direct access to booking, purchasing, reviewing, registration, and other options. This article includes some helpful tips to keep in mind when you are embedding your widgets into your WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace website. For instructions on how to embed a widget, see Embedding a widget into your website.
WordPress is a free open-source web hosting service, often used to build and customize websites. If you are embedding a widget into a WordPress website, you will need to paste the widget HTML code into the Text editor of a page. If you are having any trouble embedding a widget, we recommend disabling the Visual Editor. For more information about using WordPress effectively, see WordPress Support.
Wix is a cloud-based web development platform that allows users to create HTML5 and mobile responsive webpages with their user-friendly interface. If you are embedding a widget into a Wix page, you will need to add the code as an Entity. For more information about using Wix effectively, see Wix Support.
Squarespace is a content management system with an integrated website development and blogging platform, along with providing the functionality of hosting services. If you are embedding a widget into a Squarespace website, you will need to add the code as a Code block with the HTML field selected. If you are having any trouble embedding a widget, we recommend disabling Ajax Loading. When Ajax Loading is disabled, the widget will automatically load. For more information about using Squarespace effectively, see Squarespace Support.
