Embedding a widget or widget button into your website

You can embed a widget, or a button that links to a widget, into your website. If you embed a widget, your clients will be able to interact with WellnessLiving without leaving your website. If you embed a button, your clients will be able to access WellnessLiving directly from your website via the button.

The following are some information to keep in mind when embedding widgets into popular website editing platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace:

  • WordPress – WordPress is a free open-source web hosting service, often used to build and customize websites. If you’re embedding a widget into a WordPress website, you’ll need to paste the widget HTML code into the page’s text editor. If you’re having any trouble embedding a widget, we recommend disabling the Visual Editor. For more information about WordPress, see WordPress Support.
  • Wix – Wix is a cloud-based web development platform that allows users to create HTML5 and mobile responsive webpages through a user-friendly interface. If you’re embedding a widget into a Wix page, you’ll need to add the code as an Entity. For more information about Wix, see Wix Support.
  • Squarespace – Squarespace is a content management system with an integrated website development platform, blogging tools, and web hosting services. If you’re embedding a widget into a Squarespace website, you’ll need to add the code as a Code block with the HTML field selected. If you’re having any trouble embedding a widget, we recommend disabling Ajax Loading. When Ajax Loading is disabled, the widget will automatically load. For more information about Squarespace, see Squarespace Support.

NoteTo embed a widget or button link, you must copy and paste HTML code into your website. If you are not comfortable doing this on your own, ask your website administrator for assistance, or feel free to contact WellnessLiving support.

NoteIf the widget is inserted into a container that has a fixed minimum width, the widget will display incorrectly on small screens. If you require assistance to modify this, contact your website administrator.
